When hollywood bashes republican politicians, it's like watching kids poking a stick at a bear while it's locked in a cage (first ammendment) all the while yelling "look America at how brave I am! I'm not scared of this bear!" Why don't they ever speak out against the REAL crimes currently being committed against humanity? There is a certain left wing bias in hollywood i'll admit that but i dont see why republicans should be picked on or ostracized plenty of room for both schools of thought i believe. But when people bemoan about the secret liberal secular conspiracy controlling hollywood that seems unlikely there's just a majority of left leaning indviduals who hold influence. Since when has this been true? The cronyism of the old boy network has ensured that the elites stay elite by allowing them to "fail upwards" their entire life. The legacies of the Ivy League aren't for "liberals" (whatever that means), they're for powerful elites, like George W. Bush. Those in power have always rigged the system to ensure they have an unfair advantage in maintaining that power, no matter their accomplishment or merit. Get over yourself.

I was also very "politically incorrect" (before that behavior had a term coined for it) in my college days, in 1979, having gone through my radical phase at age 14 (in 1972), by then became extremely cynical as a member of my college's newspaper staff & dealing with all the loony protest groups.
My favorite protester was a guy who stood in front of our college's campus center, handing out blank leaflets protesting "nothing!"
