I have four Paradise fish, which I keep with a Pair of gold severums, a pair of Rainbow cichlids, a pair of Nanacara Anomala and a plecostomus. The paradises are beautiful fish.
The are not overly aggressive but are well able to hold there ground. I like to keep them in semi-aggressive aquariums with peacefull cichlids. This way you get a chance to see their true caracter without having them cause damage to other fish.
Redback Macropods are not that aggressive compared to the normal ones!
Just went to a shop where I sold some last year and was surprised about the size and colours, looked really stunning with deep rusty red backs going down their sides, and a black-bluish shine on rest of their body!
They were all males as well, but still had intact finnage, showing their nonwill to bite each other although they did some short chases at feedingtime!
Your fish vids are so great. You really capture the personality fo the fish!! I mean you REALLY DO! Your vids are like watching fish soap operas.... the fish just have these dramatic loks on their faces. Your fish vidoes make me VERY HAPPY : )
