The destroying of organized religion such as happened during the Mao Dynasty, and the purging of all the people they thought would cause political problems. Is just like Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini did before. They established a government where the rich elite prospered at the expense of the already poor peasants, and further increased the gap between the rich and the poor. There is no such thing as Democracy anymore everything has or will be monopolized, Freedoms will follow suite.
It is what the United States should have been, and will be the next super power. You wonder why there is so much money being invested into the Chinese market? Or why there is so much money being borrowed from China? Its all a perfectly coordinated destabilization of the global economy in an effort to consolidate power in the remaining un monopolized markets. Create a government that has more control over its people than Hitlers 1940 Germany, and globalize all nations under a world government
China has not been communist for quite a while now, they changed to a Free Market economy in 1978. They still had "communist leaders", but without a government controlled economy I don't know how you could call that communism. Anyways China has been a tool in testing out different political systems trying out varying levels of control on the people until achieving democratic veil over the totalitarian rulers that were placed their in WW2 (or even earlier).
Obama and the Democrats in America want to disarm all Americans (except their own bodyguards and their military) so Americans who disagree with their policies can then be shot dead in the streets like citizens are brutalized all over the world by their corrupt and brutal dictatorships. Never vote for a Democrat, they are "Enemy Within". Never.
China is a buddhist Nation, During the Tang dynasty buddhism is the national religion, the 1st printed book was the diamond sutra printed in China during the Tang Dynasty. SHAOLIN MONKS !!!!!!!!
No China is a Communist country. Religion is tightly controlled and only state approved Buddhist groups can function with in the country. China was Buddhist during part of the Tang Dynasty but since then there have been numerous shifts between Buddhist, Confucian, and Daoist rulers.
Send aid to America....we're in pretty bad shape too.
What I find most amazing is that we don't seem to be able to do anything about the 744,000 homeless here in America, or the 7 million unemployed, the uninsured and under-educated, the ever widening gap between the "haves'" and the "have nots'", the out of control corruption in government.
The feds want to appear as the benevolent benefactor in Myanmar while right here at home the shit is hitting the fan daily.
China was a Buddhist nation but has morphed into a demonic trouble maker nation in the last century disturbing peace in many nations. This century will be remembered for the breakdown of Communist China. Goodness, Freedom, Democracy, and Peace will prevail worldwide.
thaoist?? do you mean Maoist? and no China has not been Maoist for all time. It has been a Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist country depending on the dynasty. The current communist regime is only the current manifestation of chinese government
violence will not solve this problem. the Sangha there is taking right action. hopefully the international community can be successful through diplomacy.
how will a country stand without a military protecting us... we don't need that much to destroy it and we don't need to destroy it, we just need to destroy the government and have a new one that can turn the military from harming us to protecting us.. we just need a guniune Union of Myanmar
i feel sorry for the people, especially the monks.its sad how they treat them.monks are one of the most kind and nonviolent people. where did u get that song.i recognize the language because my younger brother was a monk
as far as taking care of themselve. Thats what they are trying to do but still they are suppressed by the junta.
and besides that, you should notice that this vid is a call for the internationa sangha to stand behind the burmese, not a call to arms for any one country or agency.
I was not aware of burma's oil. i do not and have not ever suggested a military intervention by the us. other measures can be take such as boycotts and sanctions. also india and china are the major issue at least as far as the UN is concerned. China has a nice little weapons agreement with the junta and their votes are what keeps the UN from doing much. Although now that the human rights sector has become involved we will see.
You do know that Burma DOES have oil, an American oil company has been doing business there for years. And as far as I know the real reason why the junta has existed is because China and India refuse to even acknowledge sanctions. And besides what do you want the U.S. to come and fix everything everywhere? We only have so many soldiers you know.Maybe the freedom starved peoples of the world should help themselves for freakin once.RIP to all who have died there.Liberty or Death!
It is disgusting how we in North America have so many excessive materialistic needs. Whilst, in Burma, there is so much sadness and opression. The contrast is vile.
thank you for making such a song and tough photos. it tells the whole story. I am sad when I am listening to the song although I don't understand the language of the song.
China has way too much power in the UN that is why they refuse to act. And the US gov. acts selfishly. It only protects democracy in countries that have oil. Even if those countries don't want democracy.
Something should be done. To earn something we want, we have to work hard. People should not give up at this point. "Future is in our hands". There will be nothing if we just sit and watch.
the first song is the refuge chant. "Buddham saranam gacchami. Dharmam saranam gacchami, Sangham saranam gacchami" "I go for refuge in the Buddh, Dharma, and Sangha." The second sone is "Namo tassa bhagavato arahato samma sambuddhassa" I'm not exactly sure how to translat this one into english but it is aproximately, "Homage to the Lord, the Awakened One, the One who has gone beyond." if someone has a better translation please post it :D
Saddam Hussein, Mubarak, Ghadafffi..... ALL dictators ... they got their just punishment... Next is myanmar ... BRING BACK BURMA !!!!!!!
