This ad actually makes me happy. Now I can piss off Peta and Eco tools at the same time by eating steak. I'm debating on eating a steak right now even though I just finished dinner...
I'm saving the planet by making a conscious choice to NOT have children. This planet would be better off if humans we're all intelligent, caring and not interested in shopping or superbowls. Why bring a child into a world where they have to get a stupid job that they don't want to really go to ???
Man i will never give up on chicken or my t-bone steak. Let see how does this started. People where cutting down trees to get the black and the brown. And no they want us to help:P. I ain't helping shit.
i love how they dont mention that the ocean emits waaaaaayyyyy more CO2 than any other source on the planet. and y do i care if the UN says it causes global warming? UN is as retarded as it gets.
This is crap, bunch of drivel that goes along with CO2 being the primary driver of warming, which has been shown to be a hoax. Cosmic rays and the sun create clouds which warm or cool our planet. Water vapour being the primary GHG.
killin cows helps the earth they eat the sulution which are they then they relase methan gas into the air =P!!!!!!!!!!! ( and ya i noe i cant spell 4 shit )
I am no expert on chickens and pigs, but the fact is cows(bovines)would and doreproduce on their own. And fact is there are currently millions of feral bovines running wild throughout the world. Before the first cow jumped off the first spanish ship there were millions upon millions of native bovines(bison) in north america, with apparently no corresponding global warming. The fact is, to convert to cropland all the pristine acreage it would take to feed six billion would be a REAL problem
The domesticated farm animals would only persist for a few years if we banned the production of meat. If you knew the crazy things farmers had to do to get cows, chickens, turkeys, etc., to reproduce, you'd be agog. Animal husbandry (artificial selection) has emphasized large size, but has had many consequences: like most of them needing artificial insemination to reproduce. And you don't want to know how they get the semen.
With no demand for meat/eggs/dairy, the breeding would approach 0.
well i was already aware of how they force breeding and how they get the semen but they would most likely breed on there own in the wild without the help of artificial insemination but there number's would still decrease overtime but most likely not to 0
These domesticated animals would not be allowed to procreate in the wild- it would be counterproductive. Most of them couldn't survive generationally anyway. The only reason their effluents are a problem is because there are so many people demanding animal foods, that the population of domesticated breeds are absurdly high. Human population is once again the key problem.
The non-human animals shouldn't have to pay for humanity's selfishness.
so essentially if we stop breeding them they will cease to exist? because then killing them would have have the same outcome as letting them go in the wild just alot quicker.
Well, the domesticated breeds would cease to exist, which would be a kindness, considering they have no ecological niche and suffer health problems common in most animal husbandry.
You see quite fond of killing, you know that? Nobody is saying let them wander off into the wild. The fair thing would be to put them out to pasture so to speak, sanctuary-style to live out the rest of their lives.
no i don't want to kill but yes that what my idea seems like, really it would be a matter of the people who's job it is to find a solution either to kill them which would be quick and cheap or your solution which is more sanitary and "friendly" none the less what im saying is the would both be a means to an end the wild cows and chickens would not be "removed' because they have a part in there ecosystems
That's a myth. The ice on mars changes seasonally. Coast To Coast Am and others like to claim the other planets are heating up. They're not. Check NASA's site for info.

logically then if we don't want global warming we just kill all the cow's sheep goats and pigs
Raymondo2123 3 years ago
Or find some alternative way to stop the mass production of them.
LineRizzleMasta 3 years ago
yeah but they still be around farting, burping etc creating the gasses
Raymondo2123 3 years ago
It's only a harm to the environment if it's in mass amounts, while having all of the animal's waste put in the wrong places (like in the ocean).
LineRizzleMasta 3 years ago
well they would still be in mass groups just free range but the waste going to the ground would help plant growth
Raymondo2123 3 years ago
Are you playing at Poe's Law?
The problem is the demand for meat, dairy, eggs. If people stop bying them, then producers won't breed as many. Ideally their numbers will approach 0.
If you want to talk about culling those who cause the most global warming, then you have to look at your own species first.
SaganAppreciationSoc 3 years ago
what? i meant the fact they would still exist would be the problem even if there not being breed for food they will still generate greenhouse gasses
Raymondo2123 3 years ago
