Well now that the movie is finally due to come out...I am opting not to go see the movie as being a great fan of the books..I am sadly disappointed in all the choices that were picked for the roles. I want to keep the image of how I picture them in my head rather than be tainted by poor acting choices. Although Sandra is over 40 she still foots the bill of Stephanie Plum not Katherine Heigl

ok, Sandra Bullock is nice--but the chic is over 40 now...

Stephanie Plum is suppose to be late 20's/early 30's and we need someone young enough to portray in multiple movies and still look ok... Sandra unfortunately does not fit...

even Drew Barrymore which others like--is in her mid 30's...

I think we are going to have to go with Anne Hathaway or another younger chic as our Stephanie Plum

Agreed, though when the movie rights were bought, she was definitely in the running for Steph. Though Anne Hathaway is a bit too cutsie for me.. She'd had to prove she can be a bit of a hardass lol

i agree, when i was reading the books i imagined sandra bullock....but yeah she miht be too old.... unless they can do somethigwith makeup..

I agree with you ....I love Sandra Bullock BUT she is too old to play the part now. When I read the books, I always imagine Rachel McAdams as Stephanie, Brandon Barash (General Hospital) as Morelli and Alex Rios (Chicago White Sox lol) as Ranger!

I've always thought Sandra Bullock would make a great Stephanie Plum. Marcometer seems to think she's too old, but I don't think so. Yes, Steph is 30-something, but Bullock acts and looks young, so I totally think she could do it! My 2nd choice would be to have Lauren Graham play her.
