I was at this show and it was a blast! I loved all the shows in the last few months of CBGB's closing. Bands came from out of the woodwork. It was great. Now one great venue in NY is in Brookly, Trash Bar and sometimes Club Europa....and their bathrooms aren't as squalid as the toilet at CB's. And when you fell in the pit here, it was the filthiest floor EVER.
Omg thanks for posting this vid! I could not find any freeze on utube until this. THey rock so much. I like the songs Boston not La, Broken bones and Nothing left
Yeah, it's The Freeze but I think Cliff is the only original member left. My uncle was the original bass player back in the day when they recorded This is Boston not LA, etc. His name was Richard Andrews. I have been looking for footage from the eary 80's too. I was just a little girl when he was in The Freeze, when we lived in Hyannis, MA.
princess die....."you'll find me when I am hanging from the rope" these guys and straw dogs and gang green...Boston had quite a cool sound. My band Stiff Kitty from London O)ntario opened up for guys from all 3 of those bands who had formed some new one I cant remember the name now but Freeze were great! I always listened to them when I was fighting with my girlfriend!

as much as I love the Freeze, I'm having a hard time dealing with how far off the vocal track is from the video track.

Wow! I can finally listen to the Freeze again!
I knew if I just waited, most of the dross would be burned away. I'm glad Hangah still has IT in him. Close is still very missed though!
