we have been using those words for thousands of years, we definately haven't stolen "your words", don't worry. Along with being Turkic speakers, Uzbeks are also descendants of ancient easter iranian (not persian) tribes that lived in Central Asia.

Here in Turkmenistan, there is no problem with admitting that we have a blend of Iranic and Turkic cultures. In fact we proudly admit it. For the record, the Iranians I know show disdain towards Pushtuns because of their reluctancy to modernize their thinking. But with regards to Tajiks, they always hold them high in praise, even though they live in poverty, they strive to better themselves. Besides they are the closest Iranic group to persians from what I've read.
