I desperately want to play this game, but unfortunately everytime I try to play it the controls don't work at all. My gamepad is unrecognized and the only buttons that seem to work are the up arrow, enter and the 0 key. To make it worse the main character just automatically walks up the screen til he hits the wall and there is no way I can move him. Any suggestions to fix this??

The only buttons you need are the arrow keys, enter, and esc. As for your character automatically walking, when does this occur? It may be a bug, but I have not heard of anyone else experiencing this yet.

It happens as soon as I get control of the character. He just starts to walk to the left of the screen, and I meant to say the only arrow key that works is the right arrow key... and that makes him go up on the screen! When I go to the menu screen it allows me to use the u and down arrows. I know thats confusing as hell, but I just can't figure out how to get these controls to function properly. Tried running as administrator, tried compatability mode, nothing.

I have never seen this issue before. At certain points in the game, your character is programmed to go certain places. But if you can move up and down, you should be able to have full control as well. This may be a problem with your computer and not the game itself, as no others have experienced this problem. What computer are you using?

Sorry to clog up your comments space w/ all these responses, but I am running an HP desktop with Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 2.50GHz, 8 gigs of RAM 64-Bit OS (Vista SP2). Has anyone reported any general issues running the game on a 64-bit OS? I know games can be a pain to work on 64-bits. Wether you can help me or not you have been helpful and quick to respond and I really appreciate that. Thank you!
