I may agree with that. But having Inferno and Blades together is total satisfaction. I got both of these bots before holidays and they were both on bargain. I can't separate Inferno and Blades, it's like they are a team. Both of them are rescue vehicles and red Autobots.

@theprimo100 Actually the g1 ironhide and ratchet did have heads inside their windshields.But yes by todays standards specially they were pretty lousy toys.But back then they were really made for kids not collectors.

This toy is the best of the Voyagers I've tried. The only complain I have is the arms come off too easily. Otherwise it's excellent.

I also got this figure recently. I like TFU INFERNO in both modes! He's big, bulky and with eerie similarities with Classic/Henkei Prime in the transformation process from truck to robot and back. I like the Hasbro version than the Henkei one. The deep red paintjob is better. Are you also getting the TFCToys Gears of War set? I want the INFERNO fire ladder and gun...Roll out! =D

I just got this figure! 4 months after you did. Every non die cast figure should be like this guy. The mold is awesome. I actually like this guy better than the Henkei one. I like the darker red.

I am an Inferno fan, but I still think this figure is a poor representation of the character. There just aren't enough design motifs to harken back to the G1 toy. Where is his ladder? Where is his head case? Where are his wings? (And I'm not accepting those Viking ears as a substitute.)

I humbly suggest you don't brush off when parts fall off. It's actually something dads need to know when considering if a TF is for them or their children.

I remember not buying Movie Leader Class Brawl because I saw your turret break, and I had ca$h in hand and was about to leave to get him. Good thing I trusted you as a review source! ;)

An excellent point. I usually brush it off if it's something that is clearly designed to pop apart for safety, as Inferno's arm was. Brawl's turret though, yeah, while I was able to fix it, that sucked. To be fair, the only reason the turret snapped the way it did is because I glued it together where it was originally designed to pop apart if excessive force was used. A leader Brawl purchased in the store would allow the turret to siply be snapped back in place.

*whimpers* Well still, it's hard enough handling "Ultra Magnus'" (aka Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime) transformation. I don't need two such beasts disrupting the RPG game.

Because my girls just love having more than 5 Autobots on a team I had to make a rule that, after a catastrophic event happened with Cybertron that affected all Cybertronians across the galaxy, TFs could only change once per half hour. That's game not real time, so unless they're in combat the rule doesn't come up much.

Wow, okay and I thought Onsluaght was the best of the 2.0 releases but Inferno is looking mighty nice for the ole collection now!

It looks like this is better quality figure than the prowl, Octane/Tankor and Galvatron figs by far, I was very disappointed with Galvatron esp, mine falls apart at the drop of a pin. The larger figs seem more sturdy.

The G1 was nice, the Homage is nice. and it makes me realize how much the Energon Inferno, despite being so very different, and possessing visible head syndrome. is also not that bad of a homage to the original inferno even with the kind of stupid Powerlinking ability.

Ebay sellers sell stolen pre-release figures from the factory floor... I don't think there's an "accessory to theft under $500.00" charge on the books.. but its not aboveboard.

that said I enjoy the reviews.. so I'm partly to blame as well.. ;) but yes any figure reviewed before it hits shelves is either stolen or a really lucky find becaue a stoke boy put it on the shelf early.
