Toradora! 24 - Opening Scene Subbed

I loved both of them to pieces, I saw Tora more recently, but Clannad had me utterly captivated for the 2 weeks I was watching it. Tora had more happy times to it, and the drama/humor kept me coming back for more. Clannad had a lot of 'mini stories' which made the main character more likeable as the series went on. Tomoya also had a good sense of humor until afterstory (nothing wrong with that, just saying). Ryuuji (similar to Yuuji in Shana and Kenji in Hidan) plays the masochist whipping boy.

..minorin giving up takasu for her best friend is such a cowardlinessact at a glance , but the truth is I salute her for being brave in facing the fact that she have to let go , for them to realize that they (takasu & taiga) really like each other but are just afraid to admit it. :)

The first time i watch this whole series, i was glad taiga was w ryuuji. But after watching this countless times, i think minori or ami should be with ryuuji becuz taiga's act is too childish.

Minorin is amazing. she's not perfect but she's amazing!and that mothers scene is just...just...no words can describe it... oh and where the heck is all those music, they aren't in the soundtrack i just hate that! even lost my pieces which was mostly heard as piano version wasn't a piano version in the ost

It took me a few times watching this to really see the symbolism in what Minori did at the end of the infirmary scene.

When she finally told him to chase after Taiga, the one he sees, she gently put her fist to his mouth. After cheering him on out the door, she stopped and clenched her hand and put it to her own mouth. I guess in her way it was her goodbye kiss to a lost love.

It was really touching.

This part was one of my (if not my single) favorite scene from the series! When Minori's punch grazed Ryuji's lips and then after he left, she kissed her fist, I swear to god I fell to pieces the first time watching it.

Minoriii! D: No matter how many times I re-watch scenes like this, I cannot stand watching her breakdown. She is amazingly brave and such a complex, well-written character. By far my favorite from ToraDora, actually she's easily one of my favorite anime characters of all time. I just find incredible how much I've came to like and apreciate her throughout the series, considering the fact that when I first saw her I thought "I bet she's one of those annoying characters you just want to punch" :))

@iGreenSoul I always thought of that too. But then, there is none of the annoying characters in the anime. Like Ami, she is kinda annoying sometimes but she is also helpful and caring for her friends in some scenes. Minori, I too thought she was the type of annoying character, but she was the one that matched Ryuuji and Taiga at the last moment.

@setsuna8241993 Not necessarily (apart from the fact that there never really isn't a definite 'better' when it comes to anime). I watched both. I thought Clannad was really nice and an awesome tearjerker but I found Toradora just as interesting.
