Ha! Rush Limbaugh, chastizing someone for thinking they know everything... what a hoot. Right or left, anyone spewing this much garbage is BAAAAAD for the country. Too many ignorant sponges actually believe the stuff coming out of this guys mouth.
Rush Russ what ever hell your name is you stupid Conservative, you truly are a fool. You conservatives always got something to say about the Democrats.
I currently serve, I'm in the Information Dominance Corp. Waterboarding is torture. It DOES serve as a recruitment tool for those we're trying to defeat. This Jack Bauer bullshit needs to stop, it doesn't work the way people like Rush say it does. And no, for your information, I'm not a liberal.
Doesn't matter what side of the political isle your on. No one who as a political opinion that has a T.V. show, or a talk radio show can compare to what the Nazi's did. Just think about what the holocaust for a second. That's one of the worst things you can call someone, and being called a racist. I have my own political viewpoints and there's no one I see that can compare to people like Hitler and what that piece of shit did. The second you use language like that, you have already lost.
@CAM8689 Oh, okay... *sarcasm* How do you know he served his country? It's very likely he just called in and said that. You don't know. Also, Rush has served his country. He has stood for what's right. He has not backed down. The 2004 election results is credited much to Limbaugh and Hannity. He has a huge impact.
@ThePalinPatriot how do you know he didn't or rather why do you assume he didn't perhaps because he is not spouting right wing talking points.....In the case of Rush I guess all radio announcers are serving there country right left and right or is it just right wingers?
@CAM8689 If I could make any sense of the last part of your comment, I would attempt to respond to it. As for how I know, a lot of times people will call in to Rush, Hannity, Ingraham, etc and act the way this man did - hateful, vulgar language, etc. I didn't say that I had concrete evidence and knew beyond doubt. Good grief. Can't you read?
@ThePalinPatriot Don't worry about the last part it went over your head.....And the caller didn't act hateful he called it like he saw it based on past experiences he's had and Rush and his followers had a predictable meltdown. By the way judging from your responses comprehension in general seems to be your problem but fret not there are plenty of free online tutorials for that sort of thing no need to live in ignorance any longer.
Looks like we have a Republican gone sour! How is 14 million American's unemployed do for sour grapes? How does 43 million Americans at or below poverty level do for sour grapes? Water Boarding got info to get Bin Ladin! If you want to stay in the back of the bus like millions of other American's stay on the bus and let Obama drive you over the cliff! Thankyou. James Sasse.
Love the way he turned down the volume so he can get his word in just when the caller called him out on his not having military experience. This guy was a marine and served in the army, that is when Rush immediately went for the "turn down volume" button to start his "speach". I'm NOT a veteran, but have the utmost respect for them, and will always, allways hear them out. Enough said as far as this desplay goes; it is quite evedent where Rush's insecurities are, and they are well placed.
"You want credibility on this program?" Rush you dont have any credibility on your own program. You are a Republican, a Republic is a nation governed by the rule of law. When a nation does not obey it's own laws or treaties it has signed it becomes something else. Ronald Reagan signed an international treaty saying we would not practice torture. The U.S. prosecuted guards from Japanese pow camps for war crimes,ie, waterboarding U.S. POW's.
What a fat piece of drug addicted conservative republican shit. Just a disgusting slob of a man. You fools that listen to this guy are a fukking cancer on this great nation.
I know of some criminal's whom arrived from across the ocean like rats by the thousands......I know of criminal's whom are NOT native to this part of the continent.I know of criminal's whom at this point in time live in the land that does not belong to them....And yet, they have the audacity to speak of things like''immigration and such.I know of criminal' whom speak of things like ''honor anf freedoms''and yet, they go abroad and murder the innocent for profit[IRAQ-PETROL]i know of criminal's...!
Lol Limbaugh is such a loser he cut him off the line before saying that last bit so that it seems like he was defeated in his argument, and I work as a technician and sometimes fixed the stuff in that studio and i've seen rush do that a lot.
I love to sheeple that think we killed osama bin laden give me one shred of PHYSICAL evidence, not some bullshit article i mean documents a body, the ACTUAL DNA TEST documents, something like that it's ok I can wait.
thats someone in the military for you though, they think they know everything and think they are a better american than most. the reason ppl go into the army is b/c they are stupid and cant find a job
@TrickBob1993 I would agree except, some of the Country's Brightest minds are in the Military. Its a special calling, and everyone isn't fit, apparently you're one of the unfit, to Protect from Enemies both Foreign and Domestic, or this We will Defend or the Marines, Simper Fideles, Meaning Always Faithful, that to this country, while you sit in and air condition world and Judge, Shame on you, Even the Space Shuttle is operated by Military Trained Personnel and they strap their asses to a bomb.
@masonfssr yes i am unfit, i do respect the smarts ppl who are higher up etc. but in the army? they take anyone, im not a big war guy myself like you. i agree it takes a special person and we need them but they defiantly do not have the brightest minds (the ones who fight) id rather get a degree in college and not put my life in danger for another country if i dont have to i agree that they have great courage but minds come on
@TrickBob1993 First of all Bob I'm not trying to argue with you so calm down long to make your thoughts more coherent, and to use the spell check, I do it all the time. Now lets address war, know one wants to go to war, but you do what they train you for when you're there. The Department of Defense the Eagle look at it, in the right talon is an Olive branch synonymous with Peace, the left talon Arrows, simple right, it stands for searching for Peace prepared for Battle. Peace is on the Right.
@TrickBob1993 And you're wrong about the education level of the enlisted ranks of the military, i.e the Army. They have lots of people that have college, and not just dropouts they are there for the education benefits, not for a career, and they most of all hope there isn't a war in their service tour, but not everyone has your apparent opportunity, so they take their lives into their hands and hope for the best. I knew a kid with a 160 I.Q. No money, Did his four years for school an was gone.
@TrickBob1993, Reguardless of higher up or lower down those minds are still in the military. Every branch has people that could teach you a thing or two, and every branch has some people that are there to make a living, cause face it they all can't be you.
@masonfssr I didn't serve in the military. Are you saying that I'm any less of a person for that? I hope not. If you're a conservative, you're hypocritical to say this because many prominent Republicans (Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, Tom Delay) never served, and quite a few (Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh) were outright draft-dodgers even as they preach about how much they love the military and accuse Democrats of hating it.
@sean 2015 First of all this isn't a argument about who has served and who didn't and secondly I am not going to argue with you We will debate like Adults or not at all okay. Now to answer your question, well I think you have already, I'm not being Hypocritical, in my assessment, you need to go back as far as possible in the History, of this conversation, I believe that you will find that I was defending My Fellow Brother in Arms, from the assault by Rush's crowd of defenders.
@sean 2015 Furthermore I'm very much aware of those draft dodgers, and a quotation that I've heard before, cant' remember the source but it remains poignant, it merely states to some extent, " Its a shame for Old War like Men to start Wars for Young Men to Fight " I think especially so, because they will serve in it, or see the horrors of it, And finally I never said anything closely related to what you're saying, of yourself, I'm standing Against the breaking of my Countries Value System.
@masonfssr The problem is, most if not all conservatives defend draft-dodgers from within their own party even as they attack Democrats who have served honorably (John Kerry being a prime example). During the 2000 campaign, conservatives sneered at Al Gore's short stint in Vietnam while they refused to acknowledge anything wrong about George AWOL Bush avoiding the draft with a cushy Natl Guard job and skipping out on drills for a year.
@sean2015 Which is in fact the true point of this segment, How Rush sits in his air conditioned Ivory tower and looks down on any section of the society that happens to disagree with his control of the World, There are many people that gives him the Ditto for such actions, such arrogance. I've had to debate my way through many of these because so many thinks he right from the word go just because he's speaking and not about the of what he's saying, I'm Conservative not a mindless Rush follower.
Interesting to note that Rush uses the term "Sour Grapes" after the caller uses the term. It's typical to use your opponents words against them ....like it is imperial facts.
...you are a poopey face. NO!!! YOU ARE A POOPEY FACE!!!
@YksiSuomalainen If you think water boarding is torture...then you don't know the meaning of torture. Having water poured in your face is not exactly how I define torture.
Im also sick of callers that call the show and say "I'm a republican", or "I've been a registered conservative all my life".....who tha fuck cares? Just make your damn point! Like somehow if you put that caveat that you're a republican before your call, that shields you from criticism if you make a dumb ass point. I don't give a rat's ass if you're republican, democrat, or fuckin green party... If your point is stupid, than it should be treated as such.
Ughh, I am soooo sick of people whose only argument is to say..."you're an idiot". Really?....what a brainless position. I guess it's easier than trying to make substantive arguments. I could walk around all day and say to liberals "you're an idiot". Besides being redundant, it's a lazy. No, I prefer to argue with substantive points that are pertaining to the specific debate.
continuation... DO you believe that other countries care about our economy? Russia is rearming, china is contesting our military now. While we downsize they are trippling the spending for their armies. There are people undermining our system now for christ sake! and yall sit and do nothing! Why is bradley manning still alive? why are the gitmo pows still alive? they shoulda been executed after a yr. Save money! 25 cent bullets!
Obamadheeneezhad tries everything EU are imposing on its member states now. VAT, Carbon Trade (Kyoto Treaty), governmental health insurance (ObamaCare), and all that stupid: regulations, limits (sugar production, fishing, CO2 emission), obligations, unfair subsidies (agriculture) and directives reminds me Soviet Union.
United Kingdom and Poland has right wing free market conservative governments, that cuts spendings, and US chosen a socialist to govern instead. That is terribly wrong, IMO. You guys are going backwards to Stalin Era, with only one difference, that is in Soviet Union there was very strong political police KGB which was torture and murder people.
@hunnyluvs69 If Rush is all of those i'd hate to see what Obama, Reid, or Pelosi rap sheet would be. Because Rush is twice the american as any of the 3 above...
@mikethebassguy How can you readily defend this type of person, its quite clear that you are ignorant and might fall in line with what the caller describes Limbaugh as. He is your representation of what it means to be an American? I believe this seriously raises questions about your character.
@charlesmustang Define what it means to be an American. This country is so out of touch with out constitution its ridiculous. Anyone who is a constitutionalist is now considered a right winged radical. The only question that remains about my character would be the doubt I have for what needs to be done to make this country right again. I think you libtards already put it beyond recovery to be honest.
@mikethebassguy I believe that what defines a true American is one who respects and celebrates the cultural makeup of this nation, and seeks to uplift those who want a better opportunity since that is what we claim to be. I believe that people such as yourself (tea party members, birthers, etc.) base their objection not on policy, but something else...No one wanted to take the country back when Bush lied to us as a nation and on his way out literally paid him and his VP before he left!
@charlesmustang "to uplift them" hmmm your wrong, my family came here for a better life for MY family not to make other peoples lives better... and i do celebrate the cultural makeup i even support different political groups, BUT when one of those groups spends us into oblivion (obama spent more money in 2 years then bush did in 8) i have a problem. I didnt have a problem with Bush because i was making decent money, my taxes wern't going to stupid social programs like obamacare...
@mikethebassguy I bet your family had to have either some familial/friend support or some assistance in order to establish a life here! Now the spending that Obama has done has been in order to rectify the amount of damage Bush did. 1)The bailout money was spent to keep banks like AIG afloat which is important on a global scale. They fall, so do a number of economies. 3) The brunt of Bush's mistakes were not felt until after he left office. Record surplus squandered, 2 wars, and your taxes were
@charlesmustang lol Nope! my great grandfather worked in a mill for 15 cents a day during the deppression, my grandfather did the same until he joined the navy, my father delivered mail then joined the marines serving 22 yrs, while he was in it worked his ass off to place 12th out of 300 in ocs, he retired as a major. There was no outside help at alll. Hard work and dedication. Who cares about other economies we need to worry about ours! continued...
@mikethebassguy I was referring to your lineage in this nation since I am guessing that like me you are not native to this land. The point I was making dealt with the fact that we are all inherently immigrants, which was meant to back the notion of helping to uplift those who seek opportunity. Furthermore, Im sure based upon your cultural make-up which I am guessing identifies w/ the Caucasian demographic, Im sure your families integration was a lot less difficult than say another minority cont
@charlesmustang To be honest the Poles were treated like shit in the northeast from what i've heard. Now "uplift" i see what your saying. However these immigrants arn't even close to what we all were. We came here and learned english got a social security card, Payed taxes etc. Half of these people dont want to do any of that.
@mikethebassguy Yet you retained your culture and this took place over generations, not over night! I hate the fact that someone of Hispanic descent and African descent are primarily relegated to being users of America's opportunities, when thats the premise this country was founded upon. Your people did it along with the Irish and Italians as well. These families will always have an easier road of assimilation because of how they identify and that is just the truth!
@charlesmustang no it didn't happen overnight but within a year they were all speaking fluent English, were paying taxes and called America "home" vs the idiots you see with mexican flags in their windows along with other hispanic countries. And don't try and say the Irish Italians and Poles had it easy. They were treated subhuman and worked to get respect. Half of these people don't care for respect at all.. Wake up!
@mikethebassguy Do you think that those who come here don't seek to make America their home as well? The Irish, Italians and Poles alike still retain their cultural foundation today and I don't see why Hispanics, people of African decent or Asian's shouldn't be afforded the same opportunity. These minorities work just as hard as your forefathers and don't have it easy in this country whatsoever. Truthfully, their road is more difficult because they don't correlate easily with the American image!
@charlesmustang I see hispanics everyday and it shocks me how many of them drive with the mexican flag still in their car, Asians have had a better oppurtunity as of late then any of my forefathers did. The only reason why Hispanics and Blacks have been treated the way they do is because they dont act on it. look up crime statistics, ms13, the bloods the crypts. The LA Riots. Real good example of wanting to be treated equal there...
@mikethebassguy They dont act on it? We are talking about two cultures of people who were/are fundamentally stereotyped and discriminated against systematically. I think you forget that King was only assassinated 40+ years ago. When you fundamentally limit peoples resources, which for centuries has taken place in America, you create an eat or die mentality. Your people after a generation or two could not be distinguished from any other average white american. The same goes 4 Irish, Italian, etc
@mikethebassguy I believe that systematically it is undeniable that Hispanics and Blacks are treated unequally when compared to their white counterparts. I never understood this until I did an internship with the Census Bureau. It was there that I understood the disparity in funds allocated to different areas. The tell tale sign of this centers on resources i.e. schools, community centers and police. The stats show that less money is invested in areas populated by both latino and black culture
@charlesmustang Ok I'll take your word on that with your stats. now answer me this, if those areas recieve less why not move to a better area? Why group together instead of spreading out? Its all about their attitudes talk with them: the majority want something for nothing. What it comes down to is that people who actually need help don't get it because of their pride. The ones who are all on welfare etc aint worth a damn and never can hold a job because of their actions.
@mikethebassguy First lets debunk this myth about people who are on welfare not working. That is a very prominent myth that is spread through ignorance. Furthermore, simply telling someone to just move is not only ludicrous but ignorant as well. People who live in a specific neighborhood should be afforded the same opportunities as affluent neighborhoods. I always say that the biggest form of segregation lies in our school system. The issue is to rectify this disparity, not to simply move!
@charlesmustang LMAO! you slay me! This isn't rocket science here bud! In middle school when my father retired from the marine corps i was living in paradise (north carolina (beach)) He couldn't find a job, therefore he MOVED to where he could get a decent job to supply the family. The reason i have not moved back there is because I make more money where i am. Is it way nicer there? hell yea but I follow oppurtunity not wait for it to come to me, or as you say let the goverment supply it.
@mikethebassguy Ok if you are apart of low income housing what makes you think that just packing up and leaving is the solution? Furthermore, if everyone could afford to live in affluent areas, they would. However, there is a reason why things like the projects were built and also reasons why they failed. If your school systems are bad, then that puts you at a disadvantage for life. Prospects for college become limited, which then leads to a lack of employment opportunities etc. Its a cycle
@charlesmustang Maybe, but im what you would call the faulty part of your theory. Did i go to a 4 yr college? nope i went to a tech school (and shouldn't of even wasted my money on that) How many 21 yr olds are making around 40g a yr? The 2 highest paid guys in the shop i work in are high school drop outs... and the worst thing is neither of them are from around here. Work ethic is the key to success not education or "help" getting to a good job.
@mikethebassguy You are not the faulty part, you are whats called an exception to the rule. Furthermore, I will let yo know now that jobs are becoming increasingly competitive and the days where you can obtain a position without having some form of schooling is dying rapidly. Stats dont lie when it comes to the correlation between education and success. The better the schooling the better your chances are of becoming successful. Work ethic without the resources is pointless and does nothing!
@charlesmustang I forget where i read it but i saw a study not to long ago that said the opposite. It went on to say how colleges are overated and a waste of money for half of the jobs out there. And of course its getting competitive hell even in my business its harder. 10 years ago i'd be making 60-80k instead of 40k doing the exact same thing and ammount of work. what it comes down to is people dont respect skilled labor anymore and buy into the college bs.
@mikethebassguy Okay, let me oppress you for over 500 years. Take away your natural language and culture Then let me see how your children's, children's turn out?
@dragracer659 My people were oppressed for 100s if not thousands of years. My great grandparents were peasents in poland under the reigning German empire before WW1. Another bloodline of mine was Scottish, same thing. A poor frenchman (my great great grandfather (mothers side)) married the daughter of a medicine man (indian). Now you tell me which branch of my family was NOT persecuted. You know what happened to the indians, peasants etc...
I am no longer a Republican due to Limbaugh, Beck, O'Reilly, Hannity, Ann Coulter and their soul-less ilk. And what kills me the most is they use the rubber stamp "Christian" to endorse their lies. So they are corrupting America and corrupting Christianity all for the huge bucks they get paid because there ARE so many brain washed fear addicted people.
@pianomanroc I am a liberal. As long as the Republican party is dominated by people who want to use Christianity as a mascot to further their political agendas I will have nothing to do with it. Rick Perry and his prayer hootenanny just before announcing his bid is a perfect example. It is offensive to the sacredness of religion and anyone who thinks it is genuine is being fooled. There are a lot of liberal Christians who are alarmed at the abuse of religion in this way. It appeals to fear.
@MrTarantulalover They were Socialist in name to get popular, they were not Socialist, they were Fascist, Socialism was very very popular during that time. Also, using your logic buddy, North Korea is a Democratic Country since its callled Democratic People's Republic of Korea, read and learn, dont be such an ignorant dumbass, also, Im not a Democrat or a Republican, have a nice day sir.
@777Atheist far from ignorant assclown. they were fascist. absolutely. and look at how many socialist programs they used . they were very socialist society in nazi germany .
@MrTarantulalover You cant be a Socialist and Fascist, they're opposites. Socialist= Left Wing fascist Right-wing, I guess you're one of the people that think that Obama is a Socialist Nazi lol
@777Atheist definition of socialism is the government owns and controls the capital . socialism communism and fascism are all total government bullshit supported by weak fucks that cant fend for themselves . far right equals no govt far left is total govt look up ur scales. right wingers hate govt
@MrTarantulalover No, it means that the people own the corporation, for example, if you have 100 workers in a business then each person would 1 percent of the business, get it ? I cant make it simpler for you but it seems like you're not that smart since it looks like you're illiterate and suffer from years of Anti-Socialist propaganda. Have a nice day
Hey Rush --YOU don't know diddly squat! PLUS you're a liar, an idiot, a miserable lard ass! Get off the airwaves which were, until the GOP REGIME OF REAGAN stole them, the PEOPLE'S AIRWAVES!
Rush i just found out more than 95% of your audiance make less than $100,000 most of them on somekind of government assistance including social security while you make $200,000,000 wooooow talk about pimp and hoes. i wonder who are the hoes on this game hahahaha
This guy does not know how to argue at all. He wouldn't shut up. That's why Rush shut off the mic. His argument was laced with fallacies and he never made a strong point. I wouldn't have put up with him for more than thirty seconds.
@MrFlyinghellfish yes, I enjoy vegan pussy and they are great but you are most likely an inbred redneck, stop doing it with your sister, that's why you guys are sooo stupid, u are just a fartard loony tune.hee haw nazi punk, nazi punk go fuck offff!
It's common knowledge that the goal of Osama Bin Laden was to cripple America not with the attack itself, but with it's response. Economic and political chaos. He got exactly what he wanted. He got America, the paragon of the free world, to reject it's own principles. It's Bin Laden's dream come true. It's sad that you don't see that.
You nailed it! We have twisted ourselves in half with each part running in opposite directions. The attack was terrible, the effects were spectacular. Never has so few, since the 12 Apostles, caused so much havoc and change in the world.
First off, this caller was incredibly rude, calling other people names will in turn have you called names.
Second, I cant see why people are so against waterboarding. I dont know about you guys, but I rather take waterboarding over any sort of Physical Pain. All waterboarding is is a Mental thing, thats it.
Second, the USA government is supposed to protect its citizens, not protecting terrorists. Why the fuck should anyone care about a terrorists right to live? Seriously.
@superlucci Waterboarding is not mental. It's controlled drowning. The water goes up your nose, and you can't stop it. And you can't breathe without water going up your nose and into your lungs. It's all the pain of drowning without dying from it. It is absolutely torture by any reasonable definition. In fact, America saught the death penaltiy against enemy officers who engaged in it against Americans in World War 2.
As for the second part, the problem is we have done it to innocent people.
@superlucci You said you would rather take it than any sort of physical pain. You just admitted that it feels like drowning, one of the most painful things anyone can experience. How is that not torture?
Christopher Hitchens is a fervent war supporter and underwent it himself to see what it was like and concluded it was torture by any rational definition. He also said it's not simulated drowning "you are being drowned, only very slowly".
@Nemesis000000 Drowning sucks yes but it isnt torture. Drowning isnt a physical pain, its a mental pain I bet you all the people who attempted waterboarding themselves were just fine in a couple of minutes.
@Nemesis000000 Getting slapped in the face is physical pain. But that aint torture. And the drowning is simply simulated...it is playing on your mind....its not actually hurting you. If it was as harmful as people say it was....then wouldnt they at least not be able to live normally for a couple of days? I sure as hell would rather get waterboarded then say......hit with a bat multiple times
Why do you think America saught the death penalty against people who did it to Americans in WW2?
You're arguing against facts. It has been a well known method of torture for years, and its propoganda to weasle out of the definition that your believing like an idiot.
@Nemesis000000 Why do you think is was even debated during the Bush terms? Because not everyone was sold on it. Just because some of America back then wanted to Death Penalty...doesnt mean they want it now. Plus its new people...and if its still debated, then it obviously wasnt concrete already.
@superlucci It's debated because they are skilled spin doctors and made a debate out of something that was already decided. America does not torture, evil empires do. Somehow, they and their propoganda weapon Rush, changed peoples minds on that. So now people wave flags and are proud of freedom while actively seeking to destroy everything that America was supposed to represent.
@Nemesis000000 Evil empires torture their own people, America does not. Just because people back then *Decided* on the issue, does not mean its still not open for debate.
I personally think you have lost it when your willing to throw away even a 1% increased chance of saving lives, just because you feel sorry for a terrorist. I personally think that is what someone with a Treason of a mindset would think.
If you were a fellow American, you would care more about Americans, than about terrorist
@superlucci Its a complete cop out to say this is a defense of terrorists. It's a defense of human rights. There's a reason we don't say human rights are universal, except for certain people. It's because people in power can determine who those other people are. The majority of detainees in Gitmo are innocent. We are creating terrorists by killing, torturing, and imprisoning innocent people without charge. This is the act of a tyrannical state.
@Nemesis000000 The rights of the Constitution are for Americans, they do not apply to terrorists.
I never said people who are not Americans increases the value of your life. But being a terrorist trying to take others definitely lowers yours. Terrorists are evil. Its not a cop out to say murderers should be punished.
Adolf murdered innocents, we are simply interrogating terrorists, if you cant see the difference than you are blind.
Go protect terrorists, while the military keeps you safe
@superlucci Of course they should be punished. After they are convicted in a court of law. Don't you see? With your logic if someone is innocent, they have no way to prove it! Do you think it's reasonable to torture and imprison innocent people indefiniately without charge, just because they MIGHT be terrorists?
If a terrorist is charged, and convicted in a court of law, for all I care they can string him up. I would laugh gleefully as they disembowel him with rusty knives. That's not the issue
@Nemesis000000 A terrorist is different from any regular criminal. A criminal usually acts alone, and usually isnt part of some larger scheme to blow up a elementary school. Terrorists can be. Its not like we interrogate every single terrorist this way, only when we have intelligence that tells us there may be a bombing somewhere, thats when we put in these measures.
I have yet to here where we waterboarded someone who we thought was a terrorist, yet it turns out they were completely innocent
@superlucci It happens. Of course we don't hear much about it because the media doesn't do their job.
Your criteria for terrorist vs criminal is silly. Criminals work together all the time. Of course terrorism is a special kind of evil, it's a special kind of CRIME. A crime against humanity.
The real issue is that we need to be true to our principles of justice and universal human rights. To turn our backs on that in a phony and misguided attempt at security is tragic.
@Nemesis000000 Universal human rights goes to everyone....except terrorists. Since they have already thrown away their universal right for equal protection.
Plus, we dont randomly pick up some Islamic dude and waterboard him with no intelligence that says he might be connected with terrorism. I dont know the exact procedures, but I would imagine every person who gets brought in has had intelligence tell the CIA that that person has connections to terrorism.
@superlucci We have no way of determining who is a terrorist if we don't try them in court. If we don't do that, then it's up to the government to label people and decide who doesn't have rights. That should scare the hell out of anyone who believes in civil liberties.
@superlucci Well if that's the case then it should be no problem to convict them in a court of law. If this cannot be done then this means we cannot be sure they are a terrorist, and we are risking imprisoning and torturing an innocent person - a crime usually reserved for tyrannical regimes. Are you willing for there to be a 10% chance o this happening? 5%?
There's a reason we live by certain values of justice - deviation represents a fall from grace.
Its more important to interrogate the subject if he is believed to be a terrorist because there could be a bomb going off soon and his information would be crucial.
Its simple math here really....do we let 1 person suffer (Not even from torture), or do we wait and take a chance with multiple lives?
@superlucci If that extremely hypothecial situation arises, just torture him illegally! It doesn't have to be legal to allow for extreme actions in extreme circtumstances. If it will save thousands of lives, no doubt the person who does it will be happy to accept the consequences like a man.
Legalizing it means it will be used when it shouldn't.
@Nemesis000000 What? Do you not understand that this was the entire point of the arguement? Or was that sarcasm? You just said "If that extremely hypothecial situation arises, just torture him illegally!" Thats EXACTLY what I have been saying they were doing (Exclude the torture part). If it saves ANY lives then it is worth it.
If it can save any life, then it is worth it. PERIOD
@superlucci But this cannot be publicly acknowledged and accepted as a normal thing by any means. Obviously this would have happened regardless, and has throughout history. But brining it into a public debate and trying to skirt around the law by calling it "enhanced interrogation" rather than what it is, torture, we make it seem that it's not illegal or even immoral.
Even if your case it is still immoral. It's just also less immoral than the alternative and therefore necessary.
@superlucci I should be clear, I don't buy that this situation has ever happened. We are torturing innocents. We are also torturing the guilty with no payoff.
@Nemesis000000 We arent torturing innocents. The people we waterboard arent just some random people we try just to get information. They have ties to terrorist organizations.
Morals dont mean squat compared to life. Its not torture, its an interrogation technique, a very efficient one.
What is immoral is having sympathy for a terrorist and endangering the potential lives of Americans in order to come off as a nice nation that appeases murderers.
@superlucci I've understood you perfectly, and pointed out how twisted your logic is, and you simply restate the same things. There comes a point when some people believe in liberty and justice, and some are willing to brush it aside in the name of those very things.
@Nemesis000000 I believe every American has all their rights to liberty and a swift trial. I will never oppose that. However Terrorists are not Americans. They arent even human beings who deserve the universal human rights. Thats what im getting at. The pain of 1 terrorist is worth any number of lives it could same. Including 0
@superlucci I agree with you about terrorists. You just think the government should be allowed to label someone as a terrorist without proof. You really want the government to have that power? That is not how America works. This is the simple fact you are not understanding. It's not about how we treat terrorists at all, that's completely outisde the point.
@Nemesis000000 No no no. The Military has something called Intelligence and they act on that. Thats the proof they need. And thats how they have been allowed to operate since the military was created.
@superlucci If that is considered proof then why do we need trials for citizens?
Why are you against putting them on trial? We put the Nazis on trial.
What better way could there be to send a message to the world about America's greatness than to put KSM through the tried and true justice system in the city he tried to bring to it's knees? It tells them you cannot put a dent in the armor of American liberty.
What's been done instead has sent the message that the terrorists won.
@Nemesis000000 Putting a Nazi who was clearly on the other side in a war and is now incapacitated as far as violence goes, cannot be compared to a terrorist who gladly explode themselves to destroy America.
Of course we need trials for citizens, they are Americans. We use intelligence to gather up proof if we think a citizen is a criminal, but we dont waterboard them, we arrest them.
The CIA cant be used in America.
It sends a message to terrorists that they have one if we DO give them trial
@superlucci As for torturing other people vs your own: People are people, being American does not increase the value of your life. If you think that, there's a guy named Adolf from Germany in the early 20th century who might agree with you.
And by the way, Obama has authorized the assasination of a US citizen because he's a suspected terrorist. Don't you get it? When the government has that power, they can call anyone a terrorist and then they have no rights. It's evil.
Water boarding isn't torture.. What is torture is listening to bleeding heart liberals worrying about Islamic terrorists that would like to kill all of us... It's funny how no one talks about Guantanamo since Obama has been in office... I thought he was going to close it? I guess reality set in after he became president...
Rush is a fucking jackass piece of shit. Rush thinks he is more qualified to talk about torture then a VETERAN. He should be waterboarded. Fuck him.

@ThePalinPatriot Don't worry about the last part it went over your head.....And the caller didn't act hateful he called it like he saw it based on past experiences he's had and Rush and his followers had a predictable meltdown.

No money, Did his four years for school an was gone.
masonfssr 8 months ago
@TrickBob1993, Reguardless of higher up or lower down those minds are still in the military. Every branch has people that could teach you a thing or two, and every branch has some people that are there to make a living, cause face it they all can't be you.
masonfssr 8 months ago
@masonfssr I didn't serve in the military. Are you saying that I'm any less of a person for that? I hope not. If you're a conservative, you're hypocritical to say this because many prominent Republicans (Newt Gingrich, Sean Hannity, Tom Delay) never served, and quite a few (Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh) were outright draft-dodgers even as they preach about how much they love the military and accuse Democrats of hating it.
sean2015 6 months ago
@sean 2015 First of all this isn't a argument about who has served and who didn't and secondly I am not going to argue with you We will debate like Adults or not at all okay. Now to answer your question, well I think you have already, I'm not being Hypocritical, in my assessment, you need to go back as far as possible in the History, of this conversation, I believe that you will find that I was defending My Fellow Brother in Arms, from the assault by Rush's crowd of defenders.
masonfssr 6 months ago
@sean 2015 Furthermore I'm very much aware of those draft dodgers, and a quotation that I've heard before, cant' remember the source but it remains poignant, it merely states to some extent, " Its a shame for Old War like Men to start Wars for Young Men to Fight " I think especially so, because they will serve in it, or see the horrors of it, And finally I never said anything closely related to what you're saying, of yourself, I'm standing Against the breaking of my Countries Value System.
masonfssr 6 months ago
@masonfssr The problem is, most if not all conservatives defend draft-dodgers from within their own party even as they attack Democrats who have served honorably (John Kerry being a prime example). During the 2000 campaign, conservatives sneered at Al Gore's short stint in Vietnam while they refused to acknowledge anything wrong about George AWOL Bush avoiding the draft with a cushy Natl Guard job and skipping out on drills for a year.
sean2015 6 months ago
@sean2015 Which is in fact the true point of this segment, How Rush sits in his air conditioned Ivory tower and looks down on any section of the society that happens to disagree with his control of the World, There are many people that gives him the Ditto for such actions, such arrogance. I've had to debate my way through many of these because so many thinks he right from the word go just because he's speaking and not about the of what he's saying, I'm Conservative not a mindless Rush follower.

@mikethebassguy How can you readily defend this type of person, its quite clear that you are ignorant and might fall in line with what the caller describes Limbaugh as. He is your representation of what it means to be an American? I believe this seriously raises questions about your character.
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang Define what it means to be an American. This country is so out of touch with out constitution its ridiculous. Anyone who is a constitutionalist is now considered a right winged radical. The only question that remains about my character would be the doubt I have for what needs to be done to make this country right again. I think you libtards already put it beyond recovery to be honest.
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy I believe that what defines a true American is one who respects and celebrates the cultural makeup of this nation, and seeks to uplift those who want a better opportunity since that is what we claim to be. I believe that people such as yourself (tea party members, birthers, etc.) base their objection not on policy, but something else...No one wanted to take the country back when Bush lied to us as a nation and on his way out literally paid him and his VP before he left!
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang "to uplift them" hmmm your wrong, my family came here for a better life for MY family not to make other peoples lives better... and i do celebrate the cultural makeup i even support different political groups, BUT when one of those groups spends us into oblivion (obama spent more money in 2 years then bush did in 8) i have a problem. I didnt have a problem with Bush because i was making decent money, my taxes wern't going to stupid social programs like obamacare...
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy I bet your family had to have either some familial/friend support or some assistance in order to establish a life here! Now the spending that Obama has done has been in order to rectify the amount of damage Bush did. 1)The bailout money was spent to keep banks like AIG afloat which is important on a global scale. They fall, so do a number of economies. 3) The brunt of Bush's mistakes were not felt until after he left office. Record surplus squandered, 2 wars, and your taxes were

@mikethebassguy I was referring to your lineage in this nation since I am guessing that like me you are not native to this land. The point I was making dealt with the fact that we are all inherently immigrants, which was meant to back the notion of helping to uplift those who seek opportunity. Furthermore, Im sure based upon your cultural make-up which I am guessing identifies w/ the Caucasian demographic, Im sure your families integration was a lot less difficult than say another minority cont
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang To be honest the Poles were treated like shit in the northeast from what i've heard. Now "uplift" i see what your saying. However these immigrants arn't even close to what we all were. We came here and learned english got a social security card, Payed taxes etc. Half of these people dont want to do any of that.
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy Yet you retained your culture and this took place over generations, not over night! I hate the fact that someone of Hispanic descent and African descent are primarily relegated to being users of America's opportunities, when thats the premise this country was founded upon. Your people did it along with the Irish and Italians as well. These families will always have an easier road of assimilation because of how they identify and that is just the truth!
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang no it didn't happen overnight but within a year they were all speaking fluent English, were paying taxes and called America "home" vs the idiots you see with mexican flags in their windows along with other hispanic countries. And don't try and say the Irish Italians and Poles had it easy. They were treated subhuman and worked to get respect. Half of these people don't care for respect at all.. Wake up!
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy Do you think that those who come here don't seek to make America their home as well? The Irish, Italians and Poles alike still retain their cultural foundation today and I don't see why Hispanics, people of African decent or Asian's shouldn't be afforded the same opportunity. These minorities work just as hard as your forefathers and don't have it easy in this country whatsoever. Truthfully, their road is more difficult because they don't correlate easily with the American image!
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang I see hispanics everyday and it shocks me how many of them drive with the mexican flag still in their car, Asians have had a better oppurtunity as of late then any of my forefathers did. The only reason why Hispanics and Blacks have been treated the way they do is because they dont act on it. look up crime statistics, ms13, the bloods the crypts. The LA Riots. Real good example of wanting to be treated equal there...
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy They dont act on it? We are talking about two cultures of people who were/are fundamentally stereotyped and discriminated against systematically. I think you forget that King was only assassinated 40+ years ago. When you fundamentally limit peoples resources, which for centuries has taken place in America, you create an eat or die mentality. Your people after a generation or two could not be distinguished from any other average white american. The same goes 4 Irish, Italian, etc
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang so your saying that Blacks and Hispanics arn't being treated equally at all?
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy I believe that systematically it is undeniable that Hispanics and Blacks are treated unequally when compared to their white counterparts. I never understood this until I did an internship with the Census Bureau. It was there that I understood the disparity in funds allocated to different areas. The tell tale sign of this centers on resources i.e. schools, community centers and police. The stats show that less money is invested in areas populated by both latino and black culture
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang Ok I'll take your word on that with your stats. now answer me this, if those areas recieve less why not move to a better area? Why group together instead of spreading out? Its all about their attitudes talk with them: the majority want something for nothing. What it comes down to is that people who actually need help don't get it because of their pride. The ones who are all on welfare etc aint worth a damn and never can hold a job because of their actions.
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy First lets debunk this myth about people who are on welfare not working. That is a very prominent myth that is spread through ignorance. Furthermore, simply telling someone to just move is not only ludicrous but ignorant as well. People who live in a specific neighborhood should be afforded the same opportunities as affluent neighborhoods. I always say that the biggest form of segregation lies in our school system. The issue is to rectify this disparity, not to simply move!
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang LMAO! you slay me! This isn't rocket science here bud! In middle school when my father retired from the marine corps i was living in paradise (north carolina (beach)) He couldn't find a job, therefore he MOVED to where he could get a decent job to supply the family. The reason i have not moved back there is because I make more money where i am. Is it way nicer there? hell yea but I follow oppurtunity not wait for it to come to me, or as you say let the goverment supply it.
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy Ok if you are apart of low income housing what makes you think that just packing up and leaving is the solution? Furthermore, if everyone could afford to live in affluent areas, they would. However, there is a reason why things like the projects were built and also reasons why they failed. If your school systems are bad, then that puts you at a disadvantage for life. Prospects for college become limited, which then leads to a lack of employment opportunities etc. Its a cycle
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang Maybe, but im what you would call the faulty part of your theory. Did i go to a 4 yr college? nope i went to a tech school (and shouldn't of even wasted my money on that) How many 21 yr olds are making around 40g a yr? The 2 highest paid guys in the shop i work in are high school drop outs... and the worst thing is neither of them are from around here. Work ethic is the key to success not education or "help" getting to a good job.
mikethebassguy 10 months ago
@mikethebassguy You are not the faulty part, you are whats called an exception to the rule. Furthermore, I will let yo know now that jobs are becoming increasingly competitive and the days where you can obtain a position without having some form of schooling is dying rapidly. Stats dont lie when it comes to the correlation between education and success. The better the schooling the better your chances are of becoming successful. Work ethic without the resources is pointless and does nothing!
charlesmustang 10 months ago
@charlesmustang I forget where i read it but i saw a study not to long ago that said the opposite. It went on to say how colleges are overated and a waste of money for half of the jobs out there. And of course its getting competitive hell even in my business its harder. 10 years ago i'd be making 60-80k instead of 40k doing the exact same thing and ammount of work. what it comes down to is people dont respect skilled labor anymore and buy into the college bs.

Seriously.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci Waterboarding is not mental. It's controlled drowning. The water goes up your nose, and you can't stop it. And you can't breathe without water going up your nose and into your lungs. It's all the pain of drowning without dying from it. It is absolutely torture by any reasonable definition. In fact, America saught the death penaltiy against enemy officers who engaged in it against Americans in World War 2.
As for the second part, the problem is we have done it to innocent people.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 It gives the sensation of drowning, its not actually drowning you. It is mental
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci You said you would rather take it than any sort of physical pain. You just admitted that it feels like drowning, one of the most painful things anyone can experience. How is that not torture?
Christopher Hitchens is a fervent war supporter and underwent it himself to see what it was like and concluded it was torture by any rational definition. He also said it's not simulated drowning "you are being drowned, only very slowly".
IT IS TORTURE.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Drowning sucks yes but it isnt torture. Drowning isnt a physical pain, its a mental pain I bet you all the people who attempted waterboarding themselves were just fine in a couple of minutes.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci Are you serious right now? Drowning is one of the most physically painful things there is!
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Its simulated drowning. Guess what happens after its over? They are back to normal
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci So? It's still phyiscal pain, it's still torture.
In fact, there IS risk of death involved as well. Hitchens had to sign a waiver that told him this.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@superlucci So? It's still phyiscal pain, it's still torture.
In fact, there IS risk of death involved as well. Hitchens had to sign a waiver that told him this.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Getting slapped in the face is physical pain. But that aint torture. And the drowning is simply simulated...it is playing on your mind....its not actually hurting you. If it was as harmful as people say it was....then wouldnt they at least not be able to live normally for a couple of days? I sure as hell would rather get waterboarded then say......hit with a bat multiple times
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci You're completely deluded, man.
Why do you think America saught the death penalty against people who did it to Americans in WW2?
You're arguing against facts. It has been a well known method of torture for years, and its propoganda to weasle out of the definition that your believing like an idiot.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Why do you think is was even debated during the Bush terms? Because not everyone was sold on it. Just because some of America back then wanted to Death Penalty...doesnt mean they want it now. Plus its new people...and if its still debated, then it obviously wasnt concrete already.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci It's debated because they are skilled spin doctors and made a debate out of something that was already decided. America does not torture, evil empires do. Somehow, they and their propoganda weapon Rush, changed peoples minds on that. So now people wave flags and are proud of freedom while actively seeking to destroy everything that America was supposed to represent.
If you're okay with that then you're lost.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Evil empires torture their own people, America does not. Just because people back then *Decided* on the issue, does not mean its still not open for debate.
I personally think you have lost it when your willing to throw away even a 1% increased chance of saving lives, just because you feel sorry for a terrorist. I personally think that is what someone with a Treason of a mindset would think.
If you were a fellow American, you would care more about Americans, than about terrorist
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci Its a complete cop out to say this is a defense of terrorists. It's a defense of human rights. There's a reason we don't say human rights are universal, except for certain people. It's because people in power can determine who those other people are. The majority of detainees in Gitmo are innocent. We are creating terrorists by killing, torturing, and imprisoning innocent people without charge. This is the act of a tyrannical state.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 The rights of the Constitution are for Americans, they do not apply to terrorists.
I never said people who are not Americans increases the value of your life. But being a terrorist trying to take others definitely lowers yours. Terrorists are evil. Its not a cop out to say murderers should be punished.
Adolf murdered innocents, we are simply interrogating terrorists, if you cant see the difference than you are blind.
Go protect terrorists, while the military keeps you safe
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci Of course they should be punished. After they are convicted in a court of law. Don't you see? With your logic if someone is innocent, they have no way to prove it! Do you think it's reasonable to torture and imprison innocent people indefiniately without charge, just because they MIGHT be terrorists?
If a terrorist is charged, and convicted in a court of law, for all I care they can string him up. I would laugh gleefully as they disembowel him with rusty knives. That's not the issue
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 A terrorist is different from any regular criminal. A criminal usually acts alone, and usually isnt part of some larger scheme to blow up a elementary school. Terrorists can be. Its not like we interrogate every single terrorist this way, only when we have intelligence that tells us there may be a bombing somewhere, thats when we put in these measures.
I have yet to here where we waterboarded someone who we thought was a terrorist, yet it turns out they were completely innocent
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci It happens. Of course we don't hear much about it because the media doesn't do their job.
Your criteria for terrorist vs criminal is silly. Criminals work together all the time. Of course terrorism is a special kind of evil, it's a special kind of CRIME. A crime against humanity.
The real issue is that we need to be true to our principles of justice and universal human rights. To turn our backs on that in a phony and misguided attempt at security is tragic.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Universal human rights goes to everyone....except terrorists. Since they have already thrown away their universal right for equal protection.
Plus, we dont randomly pick up some Islamic dude and waterboard him with no intelligence that says he might be connected with terrorism. I dont know the exact procedures, but I would imagine every person who gets brought in has had intelligence tell the CIA that that person has connections to terrorism.
Bend backwards for them and we lose
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci We have no way of determining who is a terrorist if we don't try them in court. If we don't do that, then it's up to the government to label people and decide who doesn't have rights. That should scare the hell out of anyone who believes in civil liberties.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 If anyone has connections to known Terrorists, then I would imagine they would be highly likely to be terrorists.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci Well if that's the case then it should be no problem to convict them in a court of law. If this cannot be done then this means we cannot be sure they are a terrorist, and we are risking imprisoning and torturing an innocent person - a crime usually reserved for tyrannical regimes. Are you willing for there to be a 10% chance o this happening? 5%?
There's a reason we live by certain values of justice - deviation represents a fall from grace.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Your missing the point.
Its more important to interrogate the subject if he is believed to be a terrorist because there could be a bomb going off soon and his information would be crucial.
Its simple math here really....do we let 1 person suffer (Not even from torture), or do we wait and take a chance with multiple lives?
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci If that extremely hypothecial situation arises, just torture him illegally! It doesn't have to be legal to allow for extreme actions in extreme circtumstances. If it will save thousands of lives, no doubt the person who does it will be happy to accept the consequences like a man.
Legalizing it means it will be used when it shouldn't.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 What? Do you not understand that this was the entire point of the arguement? Or was that sarcasm? You just said "If that extremely hypothecial situation arises, just torture him illegally!" Thats EXACTLY what I have been saying they were doing (Exclude the torture part). If it saves ANY lives then it is worth it.
If it can save any life, then it is worth it. PERIOD
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci But this cannot be publicly acknowledged and accepted as a normal thing by any means. Obviously this would have happened regardless, and has throughout history. But brining it into a public debate and trying to skirt around the law by calling it "enhanced interrogation" rather than what it is, torture, we make it seem that it's not illegal or even immoral.
Even if your case it is still immoral. It's just also less immoral than the alternative and therefore necessary.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@superlucci I should be clear, I don't buy that this situation has ever happened. We are torturing innocents. We are also torturing the guilty with no payoff.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 We arent torturing innocents. The people we waterboard arent just some random people we try just to get information. They have ties to terrorist organizations.
Morals dont mean squat compared to life. Its not torture, its an interrogation technique, a very efficient one.
What is immoral is having sympathy for a terrorist and endangering the potential lives of Americans in order to come off as a nice nation that appeases murderers.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci You clearly have not understood anything I've said, and never will.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 I can say the same to you.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci I've understood you perfectly, and pointed out how twisted your logic is, and you simply restate the same things. There comes a point when some people believe in liberty and justice, and some are willing to brush it aside in the name of those very things.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 I believe every American has all their rights to liberty and a swift trial. I will never oppose that. However Terrorists are not Americans. They arent even human beings who deserve the universal human rights. Thats what im getting at. The pain of 1 terrorist is worth any number of lives it could same. Including 0
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci I agree with you about terrorists. You just think the government should be allowed to label someone as a terrorist without proof. You really want the government to have that power? That is not how America works. This is the simple fact you are not understanding. It's not about how we treat terrorists at all, that's completely outisde the point.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 No no no. The Military has something called Intelligence and they act on that. Thats the proof they need. And thats how they have been allowed to operate since the military was created.
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci If that is considered proof then why do we need trials for citizens?
Why are you against putting them on trial? We put the Nazis on trial.
What better way could there be to send a message to the world about America's greatness than to put KSM through the tried and true justice system in the city he tried to bring to it's knees? It tells them you cannot put a dent in the armor of American liberty.
What's been done instead has sent the message that the terrorists won.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
@Nemesis000000 Putting a Nazi who was clearly on the other side in a war and is now incapacitated as far as violence goes, cannot be compared to a terrorist who gladly explode themselves to destroy America.
Of course we need trials for citizens, they are Americans. We use intelligence to gather up proof if we think a citizen is a criminal, but we dont waterboard them, we arrest them.
The CIA cant be used in America.
It sends a message to terrorists that they have one if we DO give them trial
superlucci 1 year ago
@superlucci As for torturing other people vs your own: People are people, being American does not increase the value of your life. If you think that, there's a guy named Adolf from Germany in the early 20th century who might agree with you.
And by the way, Obama has authorized the assasination of a US citizen because he's a suspected terrorist. Don't you get it? When the government has that power, they can call anyone a terrorist and then they have no rights. It's evil.
Nemesis000000 1 year ago
