gives to realize how much he is small and uncomfortable inside picture just stay in there for an hour flight, I really like helicopters but I understand some aircraft this giant stick that he got there is of course right in the middle should have a reason for it but it is very ugly and steals a huge space inside dele.E fuincionar to do so is an eternity, and seem so fragile and can not escape with life in their fall
Days before my commercial check ride I was still struggling with almost overspeeding the rotors on autorotations and it looked like I wasn't going to be ready. But I finally got a good nights sleep (I'm in the Army and get up at 0400 everyday, usually not going to bed til 2300). During that flight, it everything just clicked and I was checking the collective and not overspeeding the rotors. I passed my check ride and my CFI called me Secretariat because I came from so far behind! LOL
I initially trained in the Enstrom F-28A which I LOVE... then later the very nice Schweizer 300C. So, I was prejudiced against the tiny R-22 with it's non standard cyclic system. And I must admit, learning autorotations in this little booger is a very challenging and daunting task because the RPM's increase so fast if you don't "check" the collective (pull a little pitch, after lowering it). So, much so... my flight instructor almost recommended I switch back to the Schweizer.
At Performance Helicopters in Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, Louisiana. I have my Private Helicopter License and I am working on my commercial rating. I have about 60 hours flight time in the Schweizer 300C, but I'm training on the R-22 now.

Where are you taking lessons? How many hours to you have? What are your plans for your flight career?
