We thought you will be interested to know that you can discover how to recycle and recover gold, silver and even platinum from a surprisingly large variety junk and scrap that people toss out all the time.
We explain how and where. Please go to the scrap4treasure web site.
Spot price for an ounce of gold is over $1400 and for an ounce of silver over $35. That's good extra money for anyone who knows what to look for.
Great..... ship it overseas. Just like there aren't MILLIONS of us who aren't unemployed at the moment. How about we fire up some of our own smelters and get our people back to work?
thats mi boy elio whuts up eric demetro this man is the best scrap buyer in the world alco iern and metal san lerenso ca rite off davis exit mileo call me later i need a price and some trucking
@D33Lux doubt it cause if people keep recycling it goes back onto the market so theres a bigger suply of copper which means theres a smaller demand for copper is my guess
@1245678987 Very good! 48 lbs of copper is a great amount that you've collected. I'm not close to where you're at, but I'm always on the look out for scrap copper. Keep collecting. Out hard work will pay off.
Receycling is the death of historical items, classic cars, planes, historical industrial sites, anything that isnt bolted down or moving gets stolen now and sold to the scrap man.I can remeber when the car breakers used to have loads of old classic cars that you could get your spare parts from along with classic bikes, all gone now the turn over is so fast in the breakers that you only get modern cars and they may only stay there for a week, people no longer keep old vehicles, they scrap them for cash
I am a professional collector for junk yards (no I don't freaking steal air conditioners I tire of people asking that) and I love my job.

@2JobsStillPoorUSA good point lol
they only care about money
china has probably the highest price for copper so they send it there

@2JobsStillPoorUSA But what you suggest are the ways of medieval kings and communists. It will never happen in the USA.

Silver would most likely increase somewhere around 250% if copper hit $10/lb
zombehkev 1 year ago
I can see copper hitting $10 per lb in the next 2-3 years.

$25,000 per bale of copper bright/shiny? How heavy are your bales and or where the heck do you sell to? lol
scraplife 3 years ago
That works out to be about 3 tons per bail.
robertg222 3 years ago
6000lbs in a bale of copper is one gigantic bale. We've seen 3500# bales at the most.
