An interesting idea. However, why do you think a magnet will influence the iphone from more than a foot away.
In addition, I feel this game is flawed.
I observed that your class room had a floor layout very similar to that of a game like Zelda. However your class room has square corners, and no tunnels. You may need to update your mapping technique
