I *love* the miniseries, this was when it was filmed on location and it actually looked LIKE TEXAS, not like California fronting for Texas! Love the snow and the coats an the rough, unglamorous quality of the original miniseries--fantastic show!
They planned Sue Ellen's role very well, they kept her hidden in the first episodes as an unrelevant character but it's a ticking bomb, shortly after the whole series is gonna turn around her
thanks for all the video clips and music video of dallas. I was 10 when it was first aired in Malaysia in 1979. I love Bobby & Pam. I wish the dvds are sold here, I will never get bored watching the series especially the earlier years. But sad when VP left the show. Its not the same without her.
Thank you very much for posting! I was born in the early '80s so I didn't watch the series when it aired. I'm a big fan of "I Dream of Jeannie" so I thought that I'd check out this series as Larry Hagman is in it as well. Cheers!

The Reason they moved the show to califorina is because of production costs.
