3. zombies break down wooden doors in hard mode (its not out yet, but it will be out in the enxt patch)

4. monsters are way smarter now when it comes to chasing the player and finding shelter from the sun

6. monsters have a chance of droping certain items

While yes it is true that you are completely safe and stuff, there is still the possibility of drownding. For example. Drownding. Lava. Falling too high, etc, and yes your health does regenerate. I recommend the peaceful level for people just beginning that are learning the basics of playing the game. Or for people who just like building/mining.
