I think the music the background really ruined the orignal atmosphere of the song. The original was very focused on vocals and sheer force of their voices but these guys........the atmospheres are 2 different things and its not excatly a good thing. When you make a cover you don't always have to add to the orignal

Covering Queen is always going to be difficult because there will never be another Freddie Mercury - the guy remains a legend 20 years after his death. This cover keeps the spirit of the song, it is meant to be symphonic and grand, the kind of tune that would not out of place at the last night of the proms.

You know something, when you strip away the "Classic" of the original, its just another old pop song. And this one improved upon it drastically. The original had the same problem many songs of the era had, it lacked a lot of the real Push that modern music does, the more creative use of more varied synthesized instruments, the addition of proper orchestration synth, and much, much more driving bass lines. This is one of those that was good at the time, but imo, has been made MUCH better...
