before even whatching the entire vid i knew the porsche was going to win even though it has the lowest hp out of the cars it has the most tq and tq wins races not hp. when building a car to be fast you should try to build tq not hp the hp will come but for a car to be fast the tq should (doesn't have to be) but should be higher than hp. thats why my heavy old 68 coupe deville is so fast. cuz of tq :)

Think about it, americans make engines to have a lot of torque to make heavy cars move fast on rwd, foreign love to make high rev engines with less torque which they love to make light weight vehicles on rwd and heavy for awd. Now think about american sportcars with awd with the same amount of torque on low rpm. This isnt a fair comparison. Awd need to race against awd and rwd with rwd

I can't believe BMW actually went ahead and made the X6 M. I've lost so much respect for them. The Panamera is simply awful looking but as long as its profits are fueling production for motorsport derived 911's and the 918 Spyder, keep 'em coming. That CTS-V Wagon's really growing on me.

The way i see it, a little intake ,lighter exhaust and tune all for around 2-3k, and your CTS-V Wagon will smoke that 170K Panamera back to germany in a heart beat. All for under 70k, LOL! Also I think the V can beat a Panamera Turbo so long as the race starts from any speed besides 0 mph. The V has a faster trap speed.

The fact is, the CTS-V is better value for money, you can do a HELL of alot more with it than you can with a Porsche. I would love to see the sedan Caddy go up against the Turbo Porcshe.

I have no problems with American cars, in fact i love many including the CTS-V but comparing it to a Panamera is pure rubbish.

Stock car for stock car, as out of the factory, the Panamera smoked the very good CTS-V and "World's Most Ridiculous Vehicle", the baffingly retarded X6M.
If you're going to have a big cry about it losing and pull out bang-for-your-buck, then I'm sure you'd have no problems with someone getting a cheaper car than the CTS-V, modding it and having it smoke the CTS-V for less, since that's the game you're playing.

@UFCextra , no it wouldnt. Motortrend just had a comparison test about a week ago between the E63 with the new Biturbo V8 and it was faster than the V. Both cars were the wagon versions. Also I think the V can beat a Panamera Turbo so long as the race starts from any speed besides 0 mph. The V has a faster trap speed.

@4MATICbenz ya, I just looked it up, you are correct. Although the new CTS is getting redesigned with 40+ more inches of leg room and a 350+hp AWD base engine, i'm sure it'll beat the newest E63 AMG when they come out with the 2014 CTS-V - it's supposed to get 600+ HP with 600+ torque...

@4MATICbenz You have to think about price...if you don't want to then by all means get the German rivals they are great cars but what is an AMG $80,000-90,000? so 10 to 20 grand more expensive. What can you do with 20 grand and a CTS-V...a whole lot. I'm a Ford guy but this car is flat out amazing.

1. God, that car is hideous. It is literally the ugliest car I've seen in a long time, ever since the Aztek's death. I'm not talking about the Panamera. It looks pretty good. That BMW is so goddamned ugly, it's ridiculous.
2. The Panamera has the fastest launch because it has AWD. That's about all it has over the CTS-V Wagon, while costing twice as much. I'll take the Cadillac.

@import0408 depends on what corvette even though the panamera is a 4 door. There is no competition there since they are different. I own a twin turbo panamera and it really is the shit. But corvettes, the higher cylinder engines, are better in 0-60.
