OK !!!!! (Someone)... please tell me "WHY" are we not talking to, or about, Newly elected president Zardari in Pakistan who has taken the role from his assassinated wife Benazir Bhutto who was pushing for democracy ???? Could it be that Bush has screwed us again by not vigorously asserting diplomacy? And has instead breached pakistani borders already without permission ! I still can't believe the bungling of this administration !!
Keith "Dickhead" Obermother, why the fuck dose MSNBC have you one jabbering away, with nothing but destructive , negative bullshit? You sucked as a sports reporter in L.A. And you suck now......Please someone pull the plug on this waste of space
al qaeda has been defeated in Iraq, and al-sadr is demilitarizing his faction as well, so olbermann and the leftists were wrong in predicting our defeat. meanwhile, obama wants to send more troops to afghanistan, and possibly invade pakistan. hardly a peaceful policy.
as i always say, the "peace" movement only opposes wars against leftist tyrants, or any war under a republican administration (even if the enemy were an incarnation of hitler).
Show me bin Laden. Oh, you can't? And if they have been defeated, WHY THE HELL are we still there when Bin Laden is on the lose?! AND last time I checked, AL-SADR proposed another cease fire and demilitarizing on his own will! Oh, and the Iraqi military that came in to kick his ass? Ran/deserted/joined him and we had to come in and the BEST we could do is a fucking cease fire!
Al-Qaeda.. the buzz word of fear. Al-Qada was a very small portion of those we fought in Iraq. The only reason Sadr has stepped off is that he is trying (with the Iraqi govt) to get us to set a timetable to leave..
Speaking of Hitler, look to Bush,he has used all the same tactics to control the populace Hitler did, interestingly enough, The Patriot Act (which every good american should oppose)is very similar to a piece of legislation Hitler passed to help him control the masses as well.
Do you want higher gas and oil prices? More terrorism? 100 more years in Iraq? A US economic recession? Inaction against global warming and the current climate crisis? More fascism in USA? Then Vote for the republican John McBush for 4 more years of stupidity and ignorance.
the only reason gas prices could go down under a dem administration is that they would quietly ease restrictions on drilling. you see, they are hoping that people won't notice that they are opposing such a move until after the election, to make it look like they saved the day. fortunately, 2/3rds of the nation want drilling now, and they know it is being blocked by the dems. i hope the democrats continue their obstinate stance on this issue all the way to their defeat in november.
Offshore drilling wont lower gas prices.. I guessed you knew that, but hey, what can we expect from a climate change denier like yourself who obviously don't know sh*t about science and intelligence?
Are you stupid? Really, I am asking. Even if all restrictions ended, all drill ships and rigs, you know, the things the oil companies need to...you know...drill offshore? Booked for the next few years! They simply CAN'T do it! Supply and demand, you moron!
we haven't suffered a major attack since 2001. also, americans were victims of terrorism during the last democrat administration, so we are not immune with a democrat. also, it is foolish to think that recessions can be avoided for very long no matter who calls the shots. the longer they are put off, the harder the fall. clinton tried to put it off, and the economy started to crash hard while he still had another year left in office.
The Republican George Bush was President during 9/11, was he not? YOU FAIL! Gas, energy and food prices have risen during the Republicans time in office. The economy has gone into a recession during the Republicans time in office. If we vote for John McBush the mess will continue and the country will surely going to die.
actually mccain buys into the foolish anthropogenic global warming hoax, which is to his discredit, so in that regard both mccain and obama are equally ignorant.
one shouldn't base their feeling about life and the world on which party the president comes from. the truth is that little changes as far as government power and abuses from one administration to the next. an unbiased observer could find fascistic characteristics of both dem and pub administrations. hyperbolic rhetoric is worse.
Wow, you must really be ignorant and stupid if you claim global warming is a hoax. It's time to end the discussion with you here, because there is no point in wasting any more time with you.
I don't know about that...they've both professed a belief in Christ as their Savior, so it seems impossible that they would rot in "hell". Maybe a better way to say it is "They will forever remain unpopular in liberal circles."
We need to focus on Bin laden and those responsible for the deaths of our citizens not rebuild and police a random country that is asking us to leave it seems weekly now or to set time table the Iraqi government wants us to leave.
SUPRISE! SUPRISE! SUPRISE! Another Keith Olbermann attack on John McCain during an election year! Why not actually debate this issue with someone from McCain's side instead of this echo chamber of pro liberal commentary that dominates this severely partisan show?
The only problem is...he's not. I think it's basically decided that Keith Olbermann is wrong on everything, from his gender, to his tie, to his politics.
how is he not. The whole point of this is that McCain and his people will say anything at this point to get the people of the USA to vote for him. KO was and is right about that.
also your sexiest attitude really under minds your argument here. If I was to say the same thing about a woman news anchor, I would be called a pig and a sexiest and a lot more. So I would tell you, with all do respect, that men are equal too.
First of all, no offense was intended by the "gender" comment, it was just a joke. I apologize, and sincerely ask for your forgiveness (seriously, I'm not being sarcastic).
I think McCain's been fairly clear that he supports the troop surge in Iraq. What some other conservative thinker said (I did not understand if KO meant McCain said it, or some other guy did. He implied both)
First. KO's comments about McCain are confusing. McCain did not clearly state that it would be either foreign or
domestic troops. He said troops would be freed up from Iraq (implying US troops) and also mentioned working with the allies. Remember, the British troops will be leaving by the end of year, so that could imply foreign troops.
2nd. Obama continues in his proud tradition of ignoring the generals. MacArthur was speaking publicly in press conferences about the poor quality of Truman's plans. The generals that Bush "pushed aside" gave their advice, but were disregarded.
Obama is not ignoring the generals, he will change what is going to happen based on the facts on the ground. If you look at what Obama has said for the last 16 months you will see this. Obama also has been one of the big guys helping the troops back home. He was one of the first people behind the new GI bill, McCain for the longest time wanted to kill it. The New GI bill was a really good idea and McCain wanted to kill it. You tell me that McCain is so behind the troops?
You are Right! There is a problem you, another sick Kool-Aid drinking Neo-Nons who won't know matter how bright the light shines on your madness accept... that truth always speaks supreme to power!
