@churchorganfan It's actually an upside down exclamation point. In the Spanish language, when you put an exclamation point, you put an upside down one before the word and a regualr one after like ¡this!

Actually, there are closed captions for this episode, but since the episode's from a cable box, maybe your TV set doesn't support closed captioning on cable.
By the way, it was actually PBS Kids Sprout who did the work on the captioning. And they couldn't even spell "Abuelito" right!
