Oh yeah! And if you are gonna do this with shields, make sure you gave EVERYTHING else UNEQUIPPED or the game will probably crash. One last thing, dont dupe single items to a high number of items unless you love lag. Instead do bundles. For example, say you want a hundred lockpicks. Well dont dupe a hundred lockpicks with a hundred scrolls and one lockpick. First drop ninety scrolls, and with the ten you have left dupe the picks. Then grab scrolls and dupe the ten picks w/ the 100 scrolls. NoLag

Hey, just another tidbit to this glitch, you cant put another ring on directly after you drop unequipped enchanted ring. If you do so the enchantment will be removed. First equip/unequip some other item, such as boots or a helmet. THEN you can equip whatever you want. Also try to equip/unequip an item that is as far away from the first as possible because if you do two right by each other it might also remove the effect. So if you do this with boots, dont equip/unequip greaves to lock the effect

Instead of Grand Soul Gems with reared level that only have 1200 points, fill a Black Soul Gem with a person's soul, dupe it, and use it. Those have 1800 points or the equivalent to a filled Grand Soul Gem.

Ps3 GoTY seems to have issues with this glitch, once you do this even once it kinda gives you unlimited range, mainly in First Person you can hover over items/doors/npc's/anything with an option ability from VERY far away, can't interact with the item/person from afar but it's a little annoying as items you hover over are Red so it's like... will i get in trouble grabbing this? :p

oh yeah, and one VERY important note! do NOT do this with ANYTHING handheld (swords, bows, shields, torches, etc.) Rings are ok, as are any armors that isn't a shield. I am unsure if arrows would even work, if it is the same as the weapons though, it will crash the game.

unless you can find a button to drop an item, it's not doable with PC, also you forgot to mention the ways to get the PC version of Frost Crag Spire, which is also known by Bethesda as the Wizard's Tower D.L.C. because that's what you need to have installed in order to go to Frostcrag Spire.

by the way, this glitch still works post update as of about three months or so ago, i'm not sure about anything more recent. you can repeat this glitch as many times as you want, BUT...

@UltraGamer001 BUT... if you want to get more than 1 boost of any type, you need an item that has a different ID#. translated, you can enchant 10 rings with Feather, Magnitude 10 (10x10=100), and then follow the demonstrated instructions above. you can NOT dupe 10 rings and expect that to work. and i prefer using the more expensive rings due to the fact that they hold better spells, which is less spam for me to read. i have permanent Feather +1,000 & Strength +200 this way.along with all shields

yeh, that's nice. one little thing mr. squeeky left out here, this only works once. EXAMPLE: i have 490 magicka with no fortifications. I did this trick and it got me to 514 magicka while i wasn't wearing anything that fortifies magicka. then i put on my usual fortify magicka ring and when i took it off it brought it back down to 490. this is NOT A PERMANENT ENCHANT. misleading title.

1. Do the glitch normally until the part that you have to dupe the unequipped ring.

2. Dupe it normally, but don't leave the menu.

3. Wear any clothing item but a ring.

4. Leave the menu

this DOES NOT affect your skill level (eg: journeyman, expert, master.) so if ur impatient and use this permanent glitch, then u WON'T be able to learn spells and other benefits from skill leves (apprentice, journeyman, expert, master.) The only way to avoid this is to simply do the exact thing the annoying voice in this video mentions, but make it a constant drain effect, to balance out your permanent enchantment effect.

Ok everyone I figured out how to get the fortify attributes section on the enchanting alter... What u have to do is buy a spell that fortifies an attribute ( speed, strength, etc) and make sure ur at the right skill level for it to... I traveled everywhere looking for a spell like this... U can buy a couple from a red guard in a white robe at the arcane university .. He is usually in the enchanting room.
