  • and then I play it for hours a day, the Afs The fret buzz i have is horrendous , the bridge moves and like was stated puts a pinch on the strings, I like the sound the pickups are nice and clean, its a beautiful guitar, yet fret buzz put a hold on me ever being able to use it. I plan on returning it considering Ibanez has no Customer Service number. I would say you have money to blow go ahead it isnt a waste. If you dont , save for a better. I learned my Lesson. :X

  • @Human777100

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems-- but fret buzz is possibly a simple truss adjustment that any guitar would need. Ibanez has authorized repair centers that could help you out. Click the support link on their website. The bridge is easily replaceable and a bit of double side tape or rosin will help it stay put (common problem with many hollowbodies with a Bigsby). Let us know what the problem(s) turned out to be!

  • @vertefish Thank you for your help, like I said i have a Love and then Hated to see it start to buzz, Have the tape got that tip from a video, I thank you for your reply if I can get rid of the fret buzz and the movement of the bridge with the tape. Will have it worked on Today, and Will let you know how it comes out. Thank you much sorry to have said bad, its frustrating. Ill get it, Thank you. Will try those things :D

  • @Human777100 Well Sorry to say just got a call from the shop, this thing has 3 high frets , was brought in and shown, and the saddles pinch the strings,. The tech broke one trying to get it in some sort of playable condition. Sorry to say Loved the guitar, just gonna return it, and id advise playing one a few times thinking it over. I had enough if i had of waited could of afforded a better guitar, but I was sold on this one I learned Patience.. Sorry Ibanez. 3 out of 5 stars

  • I have No complaints with this guitar. Is my first hollowbody, sounds great through even a little amp. I am new to the bigsby so , yeah I give it heck and although i haven't stuck the bridge down yet, it still stays in tune, pretty well. I was looking at guitars I couldn't afford, but man this guitar Rocks. My First Hollow Body thanks for this review ! and you weren't bsing to me

    :D

  • Would a guitar like this be suitable as a substitute for an acoustic? (plugged in to a pa, I know it's not loud enough unplugged to replace an acoustic)

  • To me, this means that the top is not stiff enough, and the whole top is flexing when the tremolo is applied. The roller bridge also buzzes and rattles, which make for a crappy sound. The rattle subsides somewhat if the bridge is rotated, which puts a bind on the strings, which is exactly the opposite of what is intended with a roller bridge. We hope they fix it. Otherwise, she will return the guitar. I have another Artcore guitar, but with no tremolo, and it is an excellent guitar....

  • @delducja Some movement is a common problem for floating bridges with a Bigsby. It can be fixed with double side tape, violin rosin or even posts. I have one of these with no problems, but the bridge is set rather high which would mean increased tension, thereby minimizing problems that you are having. Be sure to contact Ibanez and go through their authorized dealers. Btw, I'm not the voice of Ibanez, I just make videos :-) I would like to hear how things go!

  • @delducja Thanks for the review again, love the guitar, still as cheap as it is I can't grasp it but i thought ahh, not heavy Sounds Great, lol look who is playin it. I am still unsure if I ever get the Money if I should purchase this since I have never owned a hollowbody or just go for the a better brand Thanks for this Video and Comments

  • My wife has one of these guitars and she is having trouble with it. She loves the sound and the look but..... When she uses the tremolo the bridge walks forward and keeps on going! Not just a little going out of tune. By the end of one song the bridge can move 1/2" or more! To me, this means that the top is not stiff enough, and the whole top is flexing when the tremolo is applied. She took it back to the seller, who said they would give it to their luthier. We'll see....

  • this is literally the only video on youtube i can find of this guitar. wtf.

  • @jorgeantonio326

    The song is Sleep Walk

  • @vertefish can I play punk rock on it (with distortion)?

  • @debenni you can play punk rock on any guitar. That's what makes it punk..

  • @SixTiNineASoBs I think what he's asking is if you could use distortion with this guitar. It wouldn't damage it in any way would it? I don't know much about hollow-body guitars....

  • @eccho13 As I said before, you can play punk rock on any guitar. Yes you can use distortion on a hollowbody, plenty of bands do, such as Tim Armstrong of Rancid/Operation Ivy or the Have Nots guitarist uses one also. It's not ideal but some people like the more airy sound that hollow body's give.

  • @SixTiNineASoBs Cool. I was wondering because I was looking to buy this and I want to make sure I don't destroy it by using overdrive. :P

  • @eccho13 I'm even pretty sure he uses over drive in this video lol

  • it was so hard to find a review of this guitar on youtube thnx for posting this, i played this guitar at guitar center and it was wonderful, cant wait to buy it
