  • Check for leaks by covering the end of your hose to see if pressure builds up, and don't worry about to much electrolyte. Fill it with as much lye or backing soda as you can. With that much space it will probably max out at about six or eight amps (or 60 and 80 my car charger amps are in double digits and others are in singe)

  • The electrods are too far one from each other. They have to be not more than 1/16 inch separated.

Salt is not the best because in produces oher non wanted gas, i use sodium hydroxide, but be careful, use a litle and use gloves. its realy agrsive for the skin.

i hope that information is useful for you, good luck and keep traing!! =)

  • Add salt in your water to increase the conduction of the electricity.

  • use baking soda it wont corrode your parts dont use salt it also creates chlorine gas

  • It's all about your spacing between your anodes (+) and cathodes (-). your cathodes are the ones that produce the hydrogen and anodes make oxygen. I had the same ideas but using flat plates is the way i found best. good luck and dont give up.

  • i say scratch it but you have the rite idea

as far as bolting it through the bottom.

try using stainless hardware and bigger container.get the electrodes closer together.

  • the zinc will separate from the steel then the steel will rust.
