Petra's one of the few bands I've ever listened to that has virtually no songs that annoy me! Every album I've listened to is dynamite, and I alays think, "The next song can't be as good as this one!" This is probably my favorite of their softer songs.

This DEFINATELY DOES mean war!!! Stan is waging an all-out attack against the family here in these last days....and make NO MISTAKE....we ARE living in the LAST DAYS! I have witnessed it with my own eyes...pastors leaving their churches....and their wives at the same time, only to run off with the church secretary. The cross other to another dimension, 2012 is NOT THE END, it's the end as we know it. as we know it, that's key... The dawning of a new age... this happened in the story of Moses breaking the clay tablets, it's Astrology really, they where worshiping the age of Taurus and we just crossed over to the age of Pieces and this got Moses upset because we where suppose to evolve and be better beings.

you hear it? during the chorus .. a background sound effect like a whip cracking ... and makes me think of how Jesus prayed in earnest in the garden just before his capture, torture, & crucifixion ... though such an unfathomable event to take place ... taking upon Himself the ENTIRE weight of not just death itself, but sin ... sorrows, hates, sicknesses, .. and yet He still fulfilled prophecy as Saviour ... He still prayed/said "not MY will, but Yours, Father" .. He remained AVAILABLE.

Man I used to teach English to my students back in 1989 from a tape cassete that some friends sent to me from Seattle,they captured some songs from a radio station ,former KCMS now Spirit 1053 that today I listen to it on line.I live in Cuiabá, Brazil. This song still makes me cry. God bless you.

My band plaied this song at a chruch one time.

I really never heard of petra till the new lead singer came into the band. Usually we plaied some of our own songs as well as the Almost, Third Day, and Jeremy Camp and others as well. But I like plaing Petra songs the most. They have become my faveorit band ever since we started practicing their songs =]
