  • Thanks, you made it way easier to understand than anyone else haha

  • @rippinhonda150 LOL.. Thanks for watching!

  • speak very !!! fala muito !!!! mostra logo esta merda !!!

  • How do you adjust the height of the bike. I want my 125 to stand a little higher, the previous owner lowered it..??

  • @M16OnDaScene Taller seat, make sure sag is correct.

  • Thanks, your vids help! :)

  • @bobthebuilder101ism Thanks for watching. Hopefully it helped!

  • does this work for trail bike like a crf150f? thanks

  • @TheISLANDMONKEYS Different settings but same concept.

  • whats the benefit in having that certain amount of sag? I understand you'll bottom out too easily with too much sag but why would you not want only 1 to 2 inches of sag versus 3 or 4?

  • @ferebeescott211 Stiffer suspension with quicker rebound. Too little sag and the suspension won't work as intended. Rear could end up being a little loose with less sag as well.

  • @ferebeescott211 Suspension will react differently, rear end would be a little looser, quicker rebuild. Too little and the suspension will not work as intended.

  • any soup ? and any oil or what ?

  • hey how do you clean the air filter on a yz 250f plz reply !!

  • @104kBryan Soapy water, then oil it.

  • does loosing it make the seat height smaller? i need to lower the seat height on my dirt bike and i dont know how! PLEASE REPLY!!

  • @traxxas35 Yes but that's not how you should lower your seat height. It will mess with the suspension feel.

  • I know you don't have a kx125 but I figured I ask I'm 5 foot 6 125 with gear do you think I'd fit on a kx125? It's a 37 Inch seat height. The guys at the dealership said kx100 but then the guys on the forums said kx125. I need some advice!! Thanks

  • @baconator127 Same height at me, you'll be fine.

  • @baconator127get the bike that you can either tippy toe on or touch with one foot

  • im 5foot 1 and about 100 pounds do i need a lighter spring for a kawasaki kx125

  • @jittermodz1 Probably i little. Depends on how hard you ride also.

  • nice bike man, i have a honda and i have stopped riding for a while but i really want to get goin but my bike sags and i also need to fix a few minor things before i do

  • @funmakerful Thanks, you should get it going!

  • @phuck777yue Yeah, I am as well. I can't even touch tippy toes on both sides most of the time.

  • @phuck777yue No, leave the fork alone.

  • Can you set the sag on crf450r for a 140lb rider

  • @EZkill5 Probably but you'd probably want to get a lighter spring. If you have to go more than a few steps lighter on the spring you'll probably want to get it revalved.

  • is it the same for an atv?

  • @caprisunmaker1 Yeah, I believe so..

  • i did mine yesterday and on the stand it measured 586mm and when i sat onit it was 485mm. so thats 101mm perfect but can i turn the spring so the first measurment is at 600mm and do it from there again to make the bike a little bit taller

    please reply

  • @ben1996ful Need to take the measurement from the highest point. You really should take the first one with the bike on a stand (I think I mentioned this in the vid or I hope I did).

  • How do you know if it needs more or less, like a good base line #...its being done on a supermini bike..dont know if that helps

  • @QuadRider004 3-4 is good baseline for most bikes but I'm not sure on the mini. I assume it would be less.

  • Ok my confused 3 1/2 inches between what? between the top of the rear tire and the rear fender? Help me out here guys.

  • @Junkboy692 3.5 difference is what you are looking for. Lets say between the swing arm and number plate bottom measuere 14" without load on the bike. You would want 10.5" while sitting on the bike measuring that same area.

  • @Junkboy692 Oooh okay. Thanks. :) I have to set the sag on my crf 450

  • I measures the distance with the tire off the ground and it was 25". Then I got on the bike and measured it was 20". How would I set it to the 3.5 to 4. Something sag? Thanks

  • @brandon184839 Tighten up the shock spring by turning the shock collar clockwise.

  • Hello there I was wondering am I suppose to have that much sag as u on the vid cause when I sit on my bike it's basically the same hahah

  • How come every other MX article I read on setting race sag, they say to place the bike on a stand when first measuring, and making sure the tire is off the ground? I'm assuming thats why you dont have enough sag in the vid..

  • @ulumanati They tell you to do so so there is no sag in the bike at all. I think I explained that but if not, oops... I lifted the suspension up for the initial test so there was absolutely no sag.

  • @guitardude2468 Thanks for watching!

  • @EricsKTM85xc You can set a little less sag in the bike and add a taller seat.

  • @guitardude2468 eBay. They are made by Facelift Unlimited.

  • wat year is ur bike?

  • thanks for the info.

  • @semajb25 Thanks for watching.

  • hi im about 5.2 and when i set on my bike i can hardly put my foot on the ground so what should i do?

  • @spardax1000 Shave the seat and lowering link will help. I've only about 4 inches taller thay you so I have a heck of a time also.

  • So you need to get between 90-110 mm right ?? I sit on the bike and it's 20" and on the stand it's 24" static sag is 4" witch is 10.2 mm add that on to 90 mm is about 100 mm which is in between 90 and 110 is that correct or is there somthing wrong. Thanks Cormác

  • @TeoZMuff313 Sounds right to me!

  • that is a really nice bike you have there

  • @yamahaenticer340 Thanks!

  • very nice bike! I'm hoping to pick up a 2010/11 honda450f this spring. what year is this?

  • @hondamx731 Nice, I'm jealous! This is just an 03...

  • @Johnnysshop wow ! you really know how to keep a bike looking good. the only reason i'm getting brand new is so I can pay monthly on it. thanks for posting!

  • nice one bud now it time to hit the track

  • @dmaheryfz450 I know! Can't wait..

  • Hi, I have a question,

Does it works the same on a street motorcycles?

  • @brener1985 Yeah, changes are less noticeable to the eye.. Like the rebound won't bounce like this one does.

  • I love your videos man: D I can not wait to see your next one's. Do not stop! your great!

  • @RBPCrew199 Thanks, I won't!

  • what ended up happin to the e30?

  • @mayers000 I sold it. The previous owner could not find the title so I didn't want to deal with it :(

  • @Johnnysshop damn that sucks, planning on buying another one? :)

  • haha everyones sick.... sucks...

  • the first time you measured it you measured it from inside the axle... the second time you measured it was from the outside of the axle.

  • @HONDASBEST I wasn't really measuring, just giving a demo.. As I said in the vid, 2 people are pretty much a must..

  • great video thanks for posting AAA++++

  • @605manuel Thanks!
