Very good video, but I still have trouble...

I downloaded now a .zip data from the Stepmania directory and then opened it... and saw that all the songs and banners, videos are not in folders! I don't know what to do now, since I tried to ask the people from Stepmania, but they don't answer at all... Could you? ;-)

@fyekurosaki I know it's an old video and I'll probably have to make a new one soon but the songs folder in the Stepmania folder (where ever you installed the game), needs a group folder before you add in the songs. So, for example, if you have an individual song folder titled Afronova then you need to create and name a group folder inside the songs folder then add in your Afronova song folder inside the folder you just created. When you open Stepmania, it should detect the songs you added in.

@fyekurosaki No, just one group folder for all the songs. You can create another group folder if you want to separate other songs for another group folder. Don't put them in .zip. The songs need to be extracted out of the .zip data and then into the group folder you created.

people it wont work if you just add an mp3 file... you have to make the arrow pattern for the song and a background video so it works

Well you can but I've tried it before and the problem is the BPM (beats per minute). The arrows you play might be a little off or something when you find a song off from limewire.

ok i can do all this however i've encountered a new problem. ok my stepmania moves really slow now, and sometimes even crashes idk wth that's all about. so now i got a new one that works, but i have a lot of songs with grades i don't want deleted. so i'd like to know how can i get the old songs into the new stepmania without my scores being deleted?

Well first off, do you have any songs than you can add in?

The folders are the ones I have downloaded before and have added in. They don't come with Stepmania. People have to look for the songs themselves.

The folder 'Songs/Scream, Aim and Fire (SpiRiT`)' contains music files.

This means that you have a music outside of a song folder.

All song folders must reside in a group folder. For example, 'Songs/DDR 4th Mix/B4U'.

Go To The songs folder in the stepmania folder Create a new folder in the songs folder Go To Bemanistyle [dot] com Make An Account After Making The Account, Go To The Simulation Tab Find "search simfiles" Type the song you want to add in the simfile name box (its in a rar file) Click On The Song You Want To Download Press Download now After That open the downloaded folder which is in an rar box

3: i have downloaded stepmania but every time i try to drag a song to the stepmania file that says "play stepmania 3.9" in my documents and go to stepmania there is nothing in it.

4: i have tried to get songs from bemanistyle, flash flash revolution, links from here at you tube from people (who prvide them), and other varrious webstites and made zero progress

5: look at 1-4...
