is'nt the battery mounted too low below the radiator? just wondering if the water reaches the battey and did it caused short circuit in the wirings??
i see that you know nothing about atv buddy.You make me laugh with ur snow plow and 4x4...if u want something to remove the snow forget about the kfx and get a brute force 750. The kfx is a sport atv for race u know, meannig that it as 5 speed manuel ,2 wheel drive ..............
i want one of these, how many gears and how fast, is it 2 or 4wd ,and could u put a plow on this thing. i want one of these, but really expensive, so i want the best out of it

Without those bikes, ATV racing in general would be way behind. Bcuz other than them the second atv that was performance based was the 400ex. And that was a honda too. That was my point. I understand technology has come a long way, but Honda started it.

the people that have them now are just gunnie pigs. it there first year with the 450 and they havent worked all the bugs out yet. the bike it to small,seat is rock hard, and you haft to put a lot of money in them so they go fast in my opion it is a bike for a clown!
honestly your focusing on easy fixes, the ATV is fast enough stock for a stock atv, if you want more power its only an exhaust and an air filter away. ive only spent about 600 total on mine and i can still beat my cousin on TRX 450 with basically the same mods. plus its got the reverse, and fuel injection which makes it all the more sweeter for the money. only thing i agree with you on is the seat. But im working on that soon, besides your ass is off the seat when riding a sport atv alot anyway
i try my friend 2005 trx450 and realize that i prefer the kfx from far... handle better,light direction, more stable,reverse gear,much more nervous,,the best thing to do is to try all 450 to see which one you prefer:P
bad ass four wheelers, we have one a black and white one, amazing fourwheeler, they are fast, they suck on snow though, they dont have enough ass. watch out your screws on the fenders will come loose, :]
Hey thats a nice quad. I'm going to buy 1 soon. When you stuck it in the lake, that was nice and couldn't be bad against the fourhwheeler because I take my KFX400 through the water about the same deepness all the time. Hope you enjoy that KFX450R for as long as you have it and good luck.

Another dumb comment. Its his quad dude. Allthough I didnt dig the water thing either. My quad is afraid of water. I had a bad experience last Feb. My 450 spent 30 minutes upside down in 4ft of water. I worked on it all night and all day right through the SuperBowl. I think the video is put together very well. I liked it. Even if I am a Honda rider. Congrats on the new quad dude. Enjoy.
