@YGGD4eva Yeah it's true that Japan has changed a lot since the war but. Projected casualties of an amphibious assault on the mainland would've been over 2 million, just because the Japanese were trying to attack the military at pearl harbor it doesn't mean that civilians were an exception, they'd still open fire on them if they'd have the chance. If you think about it, it was a pretty logical thing to do at the time, who in there right mind would send their troops into a slaughterhouse?

Fuck Japan, i couldnt care less about them and the tsunami... History is Written by the Victor so japan get fucked
It was their own fault that they entered the war therefore their fault that they didnt surrender and therefore got bombed. The truth is nobody is going to forget pearl harbor, NEVER THEY DIDNT EVEN DECLARE WAR BEFORE IT HAPPENED. It will be replayed in movies, stories, video games and books NEVER BE FORGOTEN
Man you Guys should Shut the fuck up and that shit is like what ? 1941? how old is that shit plus it was in world war 2.The American bomb Hiroshima and not to mention Nagasaki. because of people like you cunts who Keeps a grudge from 1941 and talk shit the world can never be a better places think about it fuck heads and let it go. *sigh*.......
its one thing i really like to investicate further if possible but how? seen on a TV documentary that the radar operators in pearl harbour where replaced with new recruits the day B4 they Picked up squadrons of planes n reported this to their superiors n told its posibly B17s n not to worry about it Its something that really annoyed me as to why this was not at least investicated further when the defense of your OWN service personel is at stake ANYTHING however small Must be investicated
@Arya025 not really so good at translating japanese but my friend said it means, "
Preemptive attack declaration of war is not was fight. Because, from before the proclaiming because to advance the troop it suddenly attacked on the secret reverse side,"
The attack on pearl harbour conducted by the Japanese navy bought a great progress to naval strategies around the world. It was the first battle in which bombers and fighter from aircraft carriers played its main role. Since that time naval fleets around the world came to consist of aicraft carriers and ships to guard them.
I thank you, every one of you for your service and sacrifice. That japan would attack us in such a craven, cowardly way makes me ill to this day. This is the day that ensures I will never own a Japanese car. Mitsubishi, by the way is the same company that made the Japanese fighter, the Zero and others.May each and every one of you rest in the House of the Lord. We acn never repay you all for your sacrifices or losses. I will never forget!
Roosevelt manuevered Japan into the position of firing the first shot. Japan was defending themselves at Pearl Harbor against the political and economic warfare of the US and Britain, which threatened the very existence of Japan.

@minutemanIV Haven't we already suffered another PH? The step-father of a childhood friend of mine is a South Pacific vet. Marines. Aircraft mechanic - worked on Corsairs and others. First island was Guadalcanal a couple of weeks after we took it. He tells stories of the Japanese bombing the air strip he was assigned to. Mostly amusing stories. He's one of the finest men I've met in my lifetime and I'm 57. Married a woman with six kids and raised all of them. They are the greatest generation.
@sosome57 Oh, yes, you HAVE suffered another PH, nine years ago. And I agree that the WWII generation was the greatest. Your Eisenhower, Mac Arthur and Nimitz, our Montgomery and prime minister Churchill. And all the men and women who served under them. Indefatigable folks.
@CrikeyOldSport Although I'm sorry for all the men killed in the incident, I don't feel sorry for the US. They spotted the planes long before they reached Pearl Harbor. Sneak attack, my ass. They could have stopped it at any point and they simply did nothing. I don't pity countries that act stupidly and cause innocent people to lose their lives.
@Kirke182 Do you think if the US had scrambled all it's fighters they'd have made a difference. The fighters available at Pearl would have been chewed to pieces by the Zeros. The best was the P-40 but no match for a Zero unless used as Chennault had advised, and he'd been ignored. The planes were spotted but the radar then was not yet proven, so the two spotters messages were not taken seriously. The carrier's absence was the one saving grace. They kicked ass at Midway.
@8301968 Your rationale is that the US had no choice but to sit there and wait to get bombed. I think even you know this is a pile of cow turds. The idea that radar wasn't worth enough to go and investigate is beyond ridiculous. The planes were visually sighted and the reports ignored--not out of fear but simply because nobody in charge cared. Had the situation been handled by responsible people there would have been no Midway--by which time countless thousands of Americans died needlessly,
@Kirke182 I think there was a Midway because the US carriers were out to sea at the time of the attack. The battleships at Pearl would have been little use against the type of attack at Pearl. They were old and slow. It was also believed the harbor was too shallow for torpedoes to be effective, which the Japs fixed with a wooden fin. If radar was so proven , why did the Germans disregard it's use by the British in 1940?
@8301968 The planes were visually sighted. It was reported, The report was ignored. If you have radar and you know it's malfunctioning but it is telling you something is approaching, you still have to go out and check. There is no excuse whatsoever for those planes reaching their destination. It should not have happened and would not have happened with responsible people in charge. If there was no way the US could have prevented it, I'm still unsympathetic. That's piss-poor planning.
@Kirke182 I guess your only option will be to crawl into a time machine, go back, look over the situation for yourself instead of relying on what the historians have to say and have been saying for 69 years. Maybe you could prevent Short and Kimmel from being the scapegoats they were made to be. Two of my relatives were there, both highly intelligent and well educated military personnel, and both said there was no way the surprise could have been prevented given the circumstances at that time.
@8301968 Unless your relatives were admirals at the base, I don't see how they would know the full story. I am a veteran of the US Navy and my military training says the men in charge take the bullet for anything that goes wrong on their watch. If they didn't know the planes were coming, they should have known. PH was the first line of defense against a Japanese invasion, if they weren't watching then who was?
@Kirke182 One was a flight surgeon, probably smarter than most admirals. Obviously nobody knew the planes were coming, and those who suspected were ignored. When the two operators called to report the Jap planes the officer in charge said, "It's probably a pigeon with a band around it's leg". It was also thought it was the B-17s coming in about the same time as the first wave of the attack hit, and the personnel knew they were due. I still maintain if all the fighters had been scrambled, they'd
have been chewed up by the Zeros, which was far superior to the P-40s and any other aircraft available. Not only that, it was not known how to fight a Zero, the only person who had any idea was Chennault, and he was not in good graces with the top brass at the time. His advice was ignored by all the top brass, his pilots knew, but they weren't there being instead in China. video, Interesting vid, check out Hellcat vs Zero Wake Island Pt. 2. First plane to take on a Zero evenly and win.
@8301968 It doesn't matter if they got chewed up or not. That's their job---defend the nation. If they're not going to do,it, why were they even there? That was their job.
if u can look to the right you can see a face and a body kind of leaning to the side 0:42 is that a ghost of someone who died during the attacks ???????????
May God keep mankind from idiotic wars and give peace to fallen mankind. We need saving from ourselves, from love of power, and strutting would be Messianic Warlords parading militaristic glitz and glitter for all to admire. Mad maniacs who always promise "Gee its free to take, all ya gotta do is murder for it". A "I promise" pledged utopia built on the blood of your neighbor and maybe your own or your childrens.
god bless all those man that fought on this day in 1941. i hope all the people that had to suffer through the pain finding out that there family that has died in this is ok. i know they have passed already. im just saying. god bless the world we have today. GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!!!!!
lols too right mate mindless people who thinks suicide is a way of honor sheesh japanese people are too stupid the bastard hirohito always sucking hitlers dick so much for honor if japan did not attack america they would've conquered philippines by now but no hitler says "go For a bigger nation and i will give you my support sigh what an idiotic move but thanks to that philippines played a great role during the attack at pelilu
Japan bombed pearl harbor because they thought the United States would accept a negotiated peace, and that Americans were inferior as a people. They found out that after pearl harbor, America could only accept total victory or total defeat, and there would be no negotiated peace, but a fight to the finish. You see Japan has its views on honor, but so does America, we could not return in honor without total victory, it is an individual honor, it was a personal affair.
Those who want to know the truth of PH (it will take several iterations of watching, as every statement is full of facts that really require a little further research off-line to truly understand all the details), it's right here on YouTube... go to "THE BONES OF STATION H"... watch it, and also read the Comments Section too.
Be more especific...maybe are you talking about conquist of Centroamerica on Quiche now Guatemala territory and that was made by SPAIN, or maybe are you talking about conflict Mexico-Guatemala on the 50's in which there was no invasion of any kind....our "evil narco empire' its a domestic issue, abig issue but we dont kill inocent people my friend
many innocent ppl died u jerk...babies and kids included not that you would care because ur saying that killing ppl is ok but let me ask you something...would you say GOOD JOB FOR USA for dropping nuclear bombs in hiroshima and nagasaki ....i wouldnt. no matter what ,killing is killing and in this case many innocents died
i wnt say good job to the usa because its because of jackasses like u that our nation has a freakin messed up society...n u kno wut back off cause im not in the mood to listen to idiots who dnt give a fuck about what goes on in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i would just like to say that if we had known that pearl harbor would be attacked then so many ppl wouldnt have died that day.,....if the u.s. knew do you think theyd pass off an oppurtunity to fight back and continue being the great nation they are used to being known as, i dont think so...none of us will really know for sure but i dont believe that america, no matter how corrupt we might be sometimes, wouldve let so many innocents perish to enter a damn war
I salute you, each and every valiant warrior of WWII, and every single innocent victim, of one of history's most cowardly and unprovoked attacks known to mankind. May all of you rest in peace, in the loving arms of God almighty, our Heavenly Father. May your rewards be great and many, for your selfless service to the greatest country on planet Earth! My deepest respect is given to you all.
Cowardly you said? They atack a military target.....killing thousands of civilian, babys, woman, children on Hiroshima and Nagasaki that it is COWARDLY atack and GOD had nothing to do with that why you always mention of HIM,GOD is every nation Father not only yours you ignorant
Cowardly is doing something evil and damaging on someone who is not in the act of any kind of fighting, or relaliation, due to a initial attack. We told and told Japan exactly what was coming their way, if they did not cease fire, and stop the relentless bloodshed. In their cowardly attack on the U S, and unwillingness to stop fighting, their evil leaders brought carnage upon the innocent! The Bible states that "the innocent suffer because of wicked rulers"! AND THEY worship a whole OTHER god.
@4skorand7 I hope you're not just giving your respect to American's who died in wars. If you remember rightly, it was the US military who bombed a major city in the middle easy killing many innocent victims.
FDR set the Flying Tigers in motion over a Year before Dec.7, 1941.
In the End I would bet you Smedley Butler was sorry, very sorry he did not help arrest FDR in 1933, as he should have. FDR Recognized the USSR, first Nation to do so was US. Then bumbing off Huey P. Long, and then Dec. 7, 1941.

A little magazine popular during 1930's and 40's, geared for radio hobbiest. Back then, radio was new, and millions of people enjoyed building their own radios from parts or kits.
This issue shows how to listen to the IJN Japanese Coded Transmissions at home. It teaches you how to understand the codes, and it even shows you how to BREAK the Japanese Navy Codes at home.
the main objective of this attack was not to wipe off USA, Japan knew it was not possible, they just thought this attack can at least wipe off as much as ships, planes and life, to slower down USA to stop Japan for conquering East Asia. If she could do it fast enough when USA able to join the war, she already occupying E.Asia, which then she would be ready to challenge USA. Every move a politician do, behind must have a reason, Japanese gov were not stupid to just attack and retreat like that.
This was very moving. I recently visited the memorial and this video brought back those memories. Could you please tell me what background music you used -- it was beautiful. Thanks for this.
if im not wrong, the soundtrack music should come from Medal of honor/call of duty/brother in arms/flag of our fathers?correct me if im wrong, but i think i've heard this music before..
I cant beleive the absolute crap that tamagawaboat was raving on with. he must have travelled from the past or some shit like that because i am stunned at his level of idiocracy. Youtube was right to suspend his account because i would have ripped his balls off and fed them to my dog. Unfortunatley my dog would have choked cause they are full of shit. Fuck you you fucking idiot
The japs said "We already info and announce open the war". However, the radio station was just shut down and the American sleeping at Pearl Habour without listen to the radio. Therefore, Pearl Harbour is just fake or even Not mentioned at Japs History book".
Hey, jane, thank you for the great and powerful video, but your date is wrong in your description. You have 1947. Thank you, again, and may God bless you!
I bet most of the dumbshits who are defending Japan arent even Asian. Why don't you fagots go look up what the japs did to their P.O.W.s or how they would abuct and rape young Korean and Chinese girls and experiment with biological weapons on the civilians of territories and stop watching episodes of naruto and gundam and wishing you were born Asian.
I just have to laugh at all the bitching about 200,000 dead from the atomic bombs in Nagasaki and Hiroshima, being that between 20-30 million were killed by the Japanese Empire in the decades preceding them. Nearly half of all WWII casualties were civilians murdered by Japan, and the atomic bomb casualties account for less that .003% of WWII casualties...but America is evil, right?!
It's sad that even though the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, a military base, the Americans bombed cities in Japan and killed hundred thousands of innocent civilians. They should have bombed the Japanese military base or something. And fuck all ya'll on here pretending to be Japanese and glorifying any violence.
Its so sad that Hawaii wasn't even a U.S. State yet. To be the center of a war thats not even yours.. to watch innocent civilians die because of a plan that was literally poorly thoughtless.
hey, naritasan1978, after the war, the usa rewrote japans system of government, banned japan from having a real army and gave japan a shed load of money to pull it out of the stone age... and now you flap your gums at the world as if japan gave you freedom of speech... the usa will always defend your right to speak like a dumbass...
Yeah, american are brainwashed by their government. They were cheated by Roosevelt and his government. All the world know Pearl harbor attack WAS NOT a sudden attack. Roosevelt had knew our plan b4 we reached Pearl harbor.
Yeah, that's it pin head. He let his primary ability to fight be destroyed, yet was insightful enough to know the future was in aircraft carriers. Oh yes, he would also know that the attack would somehow spare the oil storage yards.... Who knew he knew so much.
Also, the Pearl harbor attack WAS NOT a sudden attack. President Roosevelt knew our plan on november,1941. He had already evacuated all carriers b4 we reached Pearl harbor.
I hate to break the news to you sheltered Japanese but a majority of the hatred that China, the USA, half the Asian nations, as well as Russia harbour is due to ATROCITIES that the JAPANESE COMMITTED. From Unit 731, comfort women, to Rape of Nanjing. You can argue semantics of details, but the fact is if it wasnt for the US protecting Japan, the shoe would have been on the other foot and China would have shown Japan a little bit of her own medicine.
He ain't fucking Japanese dum fuck. What Asian person living in America doesn't pay a price for whatever fucking happens in Asia such as automobile etc.Fuck u Jumpa31.They internalized Japanese Americans in concentration camps and took everything.talking about how u are American. If the Asians would have attacked the WTC they would have sent all our ass packing but mulisms got to be on t.v. talking about how they're American or if we came into this country illegal.FUCK ALL YA'LL.
It seems since then USA never stopped being in war here and there firstly because they developed the army, navy as agency that resolves conflicts and crysis in the world and not secondly cause the cowardy of our countries (probably except England) that directly or indirectly have always asked them to do the "job" in their behalf.
Pearl Harbor was allowed to come..if you wanna see real evidents, white house tapes + FDR signed plans - come back on october to my web site when it's ready
hey lucaio fuck u u need to get shot in the fuckin hed ur a fuckin idiot we will fuck korea up u stupid mother fucker...and osama..thats y his bitch ass is hidin from us..ur a fuckin idiot America would kick ur countrys ass and the fuckin horse they rode in on
if the Americans are stupid y cant we lose a fuckin war huh...tell me that much....if were so dam stupid y cant we lose....we must be pretty dam smart u no we developed fn nuclear warfare my friend...so check ur shit...America would fuck ur countyr up
first of all germany did the hard part in developing nuclear bombs. scond qwe lost vietnaum, and third u can graduate high school here and have the education of a freshman in high school in any other of the major countrys.
Again, you don't win an award for not completing your work. The German Government was so kind to piss some great German Engineers who emigrated to the U.S. To Germany we say thank you.
As a student of history it amazes me as to how many people believe what they hear on TV or simply chose not to educate themselves. I guess having an opinion is more favorable than having the education to back up the bile they spew. You people are disgusting!
TAMAGAWABOAT is a dirty fuckin jap...hes jus mad because we fucked his country up with 2 abombs in WWII hes a dum fuck who dont no wat hes talkin about....and every1 else that thinks America suks FUCK YOU go to hell America has never lost a war and never will...so if ur feelin froggy leep mother fucker
Why The Japanians Attack on Pearl Harbor?? Becuse The Idiot Americans Always Want Monopoly on The entaire earth And they Catch The Oil From Japan. And Nowadays The Americans Do This In IraQ.
Hellooooooooooo! The U.S. didn't need the oil that Japan was importing. The U.S. was not keen on how Japan was treating other coutries. Now go back to your room and do your homework on history.

The attack on pearl harbour conducted by the Japanese navy bought a great progress to naval strategies around the world. It was the first battle in which bombers and fighter from aircraft carriers played its main role. Since that time naval fleets around the world came to consist of aicraft carriers and ships to guard them.

When US took over Texas from Mexico in 1836, US called "Remember Alamo!"
When the battleship Maine entered Havana harbor in 1898, US blew up ship and then insisted it as Spain's attack. US called "Remember the Maine!"
When US compelled Japan to attack in 1941, US called "Remember Pearl Harbor!"
And now, US insists that World Trade Centers were attacked by terrorists. US calls "Remember September 11!"
US's strategy of war haven't change. It will long forever.
CrikeyOldSport 1 year ago
@CrikeyOldSport Although I'm sorry for all the men killed in the incident, I don't feel sorry for the US. They spotted the planes long before they reached Pearl Harbor. Sneak attack, my ass. They could have stopped it at any point and they simply did nothing. I don't pity countries that act stupidly and cause innocent people to lose their lives.
Kirke182 1 year ago
@Kirke182 Do you think if the US had scrambled all it's fighters they'd have made a difference. The fighters available at Pearl would have been chewed to pieces by the Zeros. The best was the P-40 but no match for a Zero unless used as Chennault had advised, and he'd been ignored. The planes were spotted but the radar then was not yet proven, so the two spotters messages were not taken seriously. The carrier's absence was the one saving grace. They kicked ass at Midway.
8301968 1 year ago
@8301968 Your rationale is that the US had no choice but to sit there and wait to get bombed. I think even you know this is a pile of cow turds. The idea that radar wasn't worth enough to go and investigate is beyond ridiculous. The planes were visually sighted and the reports ignored--not out of fear but simply because nobody in charge cared. Had the situation been handled by responsible people there would have been no Midway--by which time countless thousands of Americans died needlessly,
Kirke182 1 year ago
@Kirke182 I think there was a Midway because the US carriers were out to sea at the time of the attack. The battleships at Pearl would have been little use against the type of attack at Pearl. They were old and slow. It was also believed the harbor was too shallow for torpedoes to be effective, which the Japs fixed with a wooden fin. If radar was so proven , why did the Germans disregard it's use by the British in 1940?
8301968 1 year ago
@8301968 The planes were visually sighted. It was reported, The report was ignored. If you have radar and you know it's malfunctioning but it is telling you something is approaching, you still have to go out and check. There is no excuse whatsoever for those planes reaching their destination. It should not have happened and would not have happened with responsible people in charge. If there was no way the US could have prevented it, I'm still unsympathetic. That's piss-poor planning.
Kirke182 1 year ago
@Kirke182 I guess your only option will be to crawl into a time machine, go back, look over the situation for yourself instead of relying on what the historians have to say and have been saying for 69 years. Maybe you could prevent Short and Kimmel from being the scapegoats they were made to be. Two of my relatives were there, both highly intelligent and well educated military personnel, and both said there was no way the surprise could have been prevented given the circumstances at that time.
8301968 1 year ago
@8301968 Unless your relatives were admirals at the base, I don't see how they would know the full story. I am a veteran of the US Navy and my military training says the men in charge take the bullet for anything that goes wrong on their watch. If they didn't know the planes were coming, they should have known. PH was the first line of defense against a Japanese invasion, if they weren't watching then who was?
Kirke182 1 year ago
@Kirke182 One was a flight surgeon, probably smarter than most admirals. Obviously nobody knew the planes were coming, and those who suspected were ignored. When the two operators called to report the Jap planes the officer in charge said, "It's probably a pigeon with a band around it's leg". It was also thought it was the B-17s coming in about the same time as the first wave of the attack hit, and the personnel knew they were due. I still maintain if all the fighters had been scrambled, they'd
8301968 1 year ago
have been chewed up by the Zeros, which was far superior to the P-40s and any other aircraft available.
8301968 1 year ago
@8301968 It doesn't matter if they got chewed up or not. That's their job---defend the nation. If they're not going to do,it, why were they even there? That was their job.

You can argue semantics of details, but the fact is if it wasnt for the US protecting Japan, the shoe would have been on the other foot and China would have shown Japan a little bit of her own medicine.

first of all germany did the hard part in developing nuclear bombs. scond qwe lost vietnaum, and third u can graduate high school here and have the education of a freshman in high school in any other of the major countrys.

If Germany did the hard part, then why didn't they have the bomb?. There is no blue ribbon for doing the work.

Why The Japanians Attack on Pearl Harbor?? Becuse The Idiot Americans Always Want Monopoly on The entaire earth And they Catch The Oil From Japan. And Nowadays The Americans Do This In IraQ.
hathathatkilenckilen 4 years ago
Hellooooooooooo! The U.S. didn't need the oil that Japan was importing. The U.S. was not keen on how Japan was treating other coutries. Now go back to your room and do your homework on history.
