I've never seen the old episodes but I respect them just as much as the new ones, I have nostalgia for the old doctors despite never watching them... call me ignorant for not knowing the old episodes if you want. Saying the new series is "Not Doctor Who" is ignorant. I'm sorry but BBC made it, even has a few of the same writers, it's Doctor Who and is officially canon. (Even if the show says differently) Get over it.

We Whovians have a love/hate relationship with the BBC - they produced 26 years of DW - wonderful. But they destroyed a lot of the 60's ones, then cancelled DW & then in 2005 replaced it with a dumbed-down cartoony Americanised soap opera - unforgivable.
