Dude what u do is buy the sane pair off eBay that is already broken as in circuit broken not plastic broken and replace ur plastic top with the one u just bought and it just skids right in I use to do it with xbox headsets. Hope this helps :)

yeah thats why they are so cheap. if your looking for "unbreakable" headphones go buy the beats by dre. i personally bought this model because im not ready to spend like $250 on a pair of headphones but id rather get a $20 dollar pair and buy another $20 dollar pair when they break so please dont complain about the cheap plastic. if you handle them with care they wont break. if you use them as a bungie chord, they will.....

Skull candy headphones are made with crappy plastic. I bought a pair and I used them maybe 10 times before stretching them to put them on my head one day caused an earphone to break off.
I've also since spotted a few people in public wearing my model of skull candy headphones which had duct tape wrapped around the same spot that mine broke.
i would totally sacrifice looks over quality, look at the grado's they're not as visually pleasing as these skull candy's but they blow them out of the water for material and also sound

My GI's snapped just now! After a month of use.
It's winter here in Finland, and I use my headphones outside, so I guess the cheap plastic doesn't stand the frost.
They do look awesome, but the materials arent that good after all, and they are a bit overpriced

you got be really careful with them. i know people that only had these for 3 days and they broke... adjust the side lengths and then slide them over your head. Most of us who use these types of headphones don't pay attention to how far we stretch the band when placing it over our head

I have exactly the same one, same colours and everything, and it broke in exactly the same way!! and i only bought it on friday, so it broke on the fourth day!!!, i love them, but this is very bad.. the plastic is horrible crap

same thing happened to me. sent them back and they sent me a new pair. but the new ones also broke and now I don't want this kind anymore cause the design combined with the material makes it too fragile.

im trying to figure out what to do with them. you can unscrew the ear muffs so and it looks like it could be eazy to make another rig to keep them on your head. need some help.

My skullcandy lowriders havent broken at all after now 5 months, and i just put them in my bag and mine seem sturdy enough - (was even sleeping on the beach with them 0.o )

Not only are they made cheap, but they hurt like hell after a while. Don't even get me started on the earbuds...

mine broke by the pads! they cost me £35 so I was not happy. considering the sound quality compared to regular i-pod headphones is amazing. I haven't used my i-pod for 3 weeks since this happened.
if i sent them back would they replace???

Why would they make their headphones with good quality plastic when they don't even try to make them with good sound quality. Skull Candy is entirely about looks, not any kind of quality.
