  • those tones will kill me before I learn'em, I can memorize the characters but the Chinese pronunciation is very hard. Well if somebody knows a site or videos teaching about the Chinese tones, please tell me I'll be very happy if you give me this help. Thanks anyway!!!

  • @ThiSwaGisBacKing A good site is standardmandarin. C O M if you click on a phrase it shows the pinyin & traditional chinese characters with the tone symbols and it gives an audio sample of the phrase so that you can hear the tones and pronunciation.   • 1.Normally Chinese people would say "我叫wo jiao"then followed by one's name rather than "我是wo shi"and one's name when introducing oneself.

    2.Only Thai people crossing their hands when getting to know with each other to show their sincerelities.

  • @dylanweicn I can only guess, but it might be the same difference as between "I am" and "my name is" and if it's so, I think it's fine for lesson 1.
