I remember the computers at my primary school had this. This was like 1997, my home computer was running MDK and I thought this was just appauling.. I guess it was pretty bad they were using computers more than a decade old, but I was still naive not to realize what a classic it is.

@Pioupiouwoman you had to drink everything out of the dog's bowls. Just stand nearby one of them and press Ctrl (? - I am not sure), then move to another one etc etc......and don't wake the dogs :)

Sure, the CGA graphics might be a bit dull on this version. But you can play it on a modern PC without having it running too fast (great programming skills)!

Whats the goal of this game? Obviously some of it is to avoid other cats coming out of garbage cans and the spiders n whatnot.. but what about the boxes??? im confused a bit.

You enter the windows and clear missions there. After completing one mission you get to a stage where you must climb in some hearts to a white female cat. As it is an old game, you can guess you must repeat until you lose all your lifes and get a high score.

Great demonstration of how poor the PC performed compared to the Atari 800 series at that time....go watch the original Atari version and you'll see and hear what I mean :)

Actually, if this same version were run on an IBM PCjr with a CGA composite monitor it exceeded the 800 with much more colorful gfx and greatly improved sound and music (more capable than the POKEY) rather than that of the conventional CGA enabled PC's of the day.

At any rate, Tandy did a much better job with the IBM PCjr technology as indicated w/ their 1000 series; Especially their later 1000TL/SL's w/ the DAC capability added to the sound chip.
