I know Vietnamese people came from Chinese because I'm using common sense.
No, I'm not being a Chinese wannabe. I've also told you the reason why too, on the other post. They're probably telling the truth that they're half and can't speak the language since they live in America & lost it. You can't blame them.

I have to say, Mzwhat is correct for the most part. Chinese civilization influenced to a large degree the cultures of Korea, Japan, and Vietnam (Buddhism, originally from India, Taoism, Confucianism...the arts, literature, dance, song etc...) Nevertheless, these countries do have their own original traditions. That's why my first question was, LET'S SEE SOME ORIGINAL VIETNAMESE DANCE!

They don't have exact original traditions, though. Some things from some other asian cultures & Vietnam are just copied from the huge original country, China. That's why this dance is exactly like a Chinese one. There are some other original Vietnamese dances, but is it like against the law to copy a fan dance? Maybe some moves are the same but isn't it pretty much an asian dance?

I'm not sure what you're trying to prove now. But alright, if you want to say that Chinese came from Vietnamese, then that means that Vietnamese people aren't copying from the Chinese culture. There, we've just solved the problem. Vietnamese is not copying the Chinese culture, it's the opposite.

I've Read and been taught about Viet History.
I'm pretty sure that they rebelled against China because they don't like the system or government or wanted freedom. Either way, I'm more than certain that their great-great-great (add about 1000-2000 "great"s) grandparents were Chinese.

so u see not every viet culture come from chinese, but some chinese come from viet also, the chinese also did copy some viet opera as well, u should know this, viet use to own a big kingdom in southern china, u should know this too, so y not say chinese come from viet ? if u look at cantonese ppl, they also have bigger eyes like viet, but the Han chinese have chinkier eyes and more slanted eyes then southern chinese, so maybe southern chinese come from viet

He's not being "racist to skin colors"... It just so happens that different parts of Asia produce people of different pigments...I'm Vietnamese, and that's common knowledge among most Asians. Not a matter of offense. Cambodians, Viets, etc tend to be darker.

These "fan dances" are common in many ethnic groups in Asia, not just the Chinese...even some minorities in VN who have been living isolated on mountains for centuries with no Chinese influence have these fan dances...(continued below)

Fans are commonly used in Asia for decoration, from countries like Thailand, Cambodias, Laos to countries like Japan and Korea. It's no wonder to see that fan dances exist in so many ethnics in Asia. along time ago in China there were many kingdoms ruled by different groups of people (ethnics), then they were all conquered by the Han and their culture was incorporated into the mainstream Han culture. If you see similarity between Chinese and some other Asian ethnic, don't hastily assume that the other Asian ethnic got it from the Chinese. Just as how Chinese culture is mixed, Viet culture is also a blend of the Au Lac and the Han, and recently with the Cham, Khmer, and other minorities.
