The translation is NOT wrong, that is EXACTLY what Khrushchev said! Ask any historian or Russian translator, they will all agree that the translation was correct.
People are only saying that the translation is wrong because they WANT the translation to be wrong so that they can express their stupid opinions that most people don't give a SHIT about anyway.
They don't like the FACT that Khrushchev said something so brutal.

The brutality of his intentions in the words the dictator said is evident, I don't understand why everybody is so sympathetic towards a man who was the leader of the forces opposing the free world at the time.

In fact his brutality here is directed towards Germans. This is fully justified since they killed quite a number of Soviet people during the second world war.
All in all this ad is a rather mean utilization of the people's lack of knowledge of the Russian language.

A far-fetched hypothesis considering how things turned out, but it would have certainly delayed the liberal statist agenda for at least a decade I think.
