  • I really can't understand why you'd use canola oil. Besides not being greatly appropriate for this kind of cooking, it also leaves a terrible after-taste in your food. Wouldn't peanut, or rice bran oil yield much better results?

  • I don't know, however long the fresh oil would last by itself probably. The oil gets too dark and and burnt and dirty before it ever gets rancid.

  • I saw this video initially on its first release and I was like "Wow that looks good!" but I never bothered to make it. Today we had left over shake and bake chicken (I am sure the fried chicken in the video would have tasted better) and decided to try making the sauce with it. It tasted DELICIOUS!!!! I look forward to trying the whole recipe sometime soon :D My sister also loved it!!

  • i tried this yesterday ... every1 love it... :) the difference is that i boiled the wings first, then fried it... that way it won't' become too dry once we fried it... :) but this is a VERY good and easy recipe....... thank you sooo much :)

  • Well, actually, that hot sauce is not that spicy. There are some hot sauces in the market that are much spicier than that. And if you put the dry chili peppers there, that would be a killer.
