I live fairly close to japan... about a 3-1/2 to 4 hour plane ride, so the tickets round trip are only around 700 dollars. I use a business hotel, which is cheaper plus membership gets me 10% discount, thats about 330 dollars... spending is at least 750+. All in all almost 2k.
