Yes it looks cool, but does this have any advantages? Who cares if the console is a few degrees warmer? Is an XBox really too loud just with fans? The water has to be cooled to, and usually that is done with an radiator cooled by fans.
Now the console isn't portable and the looks could have been achieved with just a window and LEDs w/o watercooling.
@DaFish1337 The reason people water cool them is because the older ones, (Pre Jasper) are 50.5 chance or Red Ring of Death according to xbox scene. So the water makes them nearly IMPOSSIBLE to red ring. and yes, it is portable. It has quick releases on the back of the console and on the cooling system to disconnect the hoses and take it with you. Once you disconnect the hoses, It is the same size as a unmodified one, plus the radiator system.

Take ur system apart play it for 30minutes then try keeping your fingers on the gpu heatsink. every system WILL fail "eventually" 360s get so hot they melt the solder connecting the gpu to the main bored causeing RODs. even the ps3s over heat causeing YODs for the same reason. though the ps3s last u years rather then 360 months. saying it doesnt is just faulse. and giving that youll have to pay 150 to send it in after warantee, u do the math.

Ive accidenly left me xbox 360 on for about a week strait because I was in a hurry to go to Florida for the week (summer vacation :)) and It didn't overheat...And I also have a snap on cooler on the back of it that i never even use because it's too loud.

But im honestly going to say if you clean your xbox out with a can of compressed air and put it in an area with 8 inches of space on both sides and at least 5 in the back. Apparently you dont know much about pc's, most pc gamers go the watercooling route, overclocking is a factor, normal heatsink sometimes cant dissipate the heat quick enough, the cooler the better, last 10x longer and is much quiter, when it comes to modding NOTHING is out of hand; thus is why its called MODDING, maybe its just too much for you to handle huh?
@16GDSM no we don't... I have a stock heatsink on both my GTX 260 Core 216 GPU's and my E6850 C2D CPU (Running OCed to 3.8GHz btw...) and both my GPU's OC'ed 10 percent... never have had water cooling, never will. They don't last for SHIT and make your PC a ticking hurricane katrina.

I agree, with near perfect airflow OC is possible but its a good challenge especially with dust in the fans that can really choke your rig to literal death in a matter of a few weeks in some parts of the world. i've heard of phase changers which i havent done too much research on it but i hear its chilled water that gets cycled through maybe somebody could elaborate on it but its nowhere near small form factor but it would be more ideal for lower core temps then WC'd.

It's not to keep it quiet. Its to keep it from overheating. Say it overheats and you have no warranty. you just lost 299 dollars right there. or say you do have a warranty you will still have to wait about a month to get it back.

its not for keeping quiet its to keep the rrod away with your xbox's standered fans it runs a about 160 degress and the CPU be topping off at 254 dergress were as with a watercooling kit like this one on the vid the xbox wont get above 33 and the CPU wont top 40 degress but it will void your warrenty so I would recommend waiting until your warrenty expires mine dont expire until March of next year

its not for keeping quiet its to keep the rrod away with your xbox's standered fans it runs a about 160 degress and the CPU be topping off at 254 dergress were as with a watercooling kit like this one on the vid the xbox wont get above 33 and the CPU wont top 40 degress but it will void your warrenty so I would recommend waiting until your warrenty expires mine dont expire until March of next year

And i own two 360's btw, didnt need any of this stuff, i just used high quality compound paste with locking washers and nuts, and fixed both of them when they died on me. Both have been running for 2 years solid now :)

Yeah this may be a good way to prevent the red rings, but seriously as a games consumer, this is crap? Looks nice yeah but do you want this pile of shit all over your room. It's a games console, it's supposed to be at least aesthetically presentable and fit anywhere in your room. Quality is an issue with the 360 atm, especially its cheap 3rd world country mass produced components, and rrod. In my honest opinion, microsoft need to shape things up, not buying xbox 720 with all this shit...

i am not an xbox fanboy, im not a fanboy whatso ever, i don't get it with all you freaks thinking everybodys a fanboy for having an xbox 360 or a ps3, they both do exactly the same thing, there both good peices of hardware, all the difference is that people go for the cheapest option which is the 360... No water cooling isnt overdoing it, otherwise they wouldnt be selling professional equipment for anyone to use to buy it. the advantage of watercooling is longer lasting and cooler hardware.
