I love how she disciplines, too. That's how my mom was. I'm 27 now and I'm ABSOLUTELY going to do the same thing with my future children. When we did something wrong she not only told us why it was wrong, but what to do INSTEAD. :)

I personally think that if they want to have as many kids as they want, go ahead. Their family appears to be a very well knit, close family. Both the girls and boys get hands-on experiences with rearing children, cooking, cleaning, and management as they grow up and these will be helpful in the long run as they start their own families. Michelle and Jim Bob are great at raising their children. I don't agree with their religious views but I don't disagree with their lifestyle.

I'm not sure why someone would go to a Dugger video site then complain about it. This is a religious thing and that's okay, they aren't hurting anyone. I'm more concerned about the people that have 1 or 2 children that they shouldn't have. These people take care of their children and thru careful planning do not need a reality show to support them.

That is VERY selfish and irresponsible in respect to us all -the society.

If resources are limited, they're going to run out anyway, aren't they? The world will always have problems, but that's not a good reason to demean a large family.

The earth is running out of resources and if we all want to keep having at least one or two children some of us cannot have 20 per household. Got it? @DanaWielgus I saw an interview and she was asked if she ever "loses it" and she said she does and she feels its important to just make it right to the entire family as soon as possible. But I'm sure her idea of "losing it" is more a matter of raising her voice than losing it like some do with vulgarity, name calling etc. I can't picture her saying anything to her family that would make them feel bad about themselves.
