My god this fight was hard enough on Very Hard difficulty. Still I always use the Dual Swords at level 3 instead of the Dragon Sword at level 3. It does a lot more damage...

I'm trying the game for the first time on the hard difficulty, no problems up till now and at this point in the game I've got 70,000 yellow essence, one great spirit, no magic and that's about it. But what gets on my tits is the fact I forgot the fucking doors are locked at the end of the hall, so i can't save on the dragon outside ( i have to fucking swim up that bastard tunnel) and i can't spend any cash on upgrades. Hurrah! Best game ever though, pisses on number 2.

I think the problem with this battle is that SHE NEVER FUCKING GETS HIT WITH THAT FUCKING FLYING SWALLOW MOVE!!! Plus, the camera. Plus those pillars she throws at you, theres no way to dodge them besides jump, run, but half the time, you still get hit.

It took me over a year to master this game (on XBOX). It's more dodge/counter than attack. If you are new to this game and are attack-button prone, open your window so you won't break the glass when you throw your XBOX/PS3 thru it having lost 164 times on the first level.

I love this game , the real king of action games , no enemies dancing around you , intense battle sistem , better tham open combo sistem ... Sorry DMC fans , DMC is a great game but the action in NG is more intense , enemies are not stupid here.

The ninga gaiden black is harder , I clear it on master ninja , very hard but not imposible, hayabusa is a really power full character when you learn how to use him . I already have the sigma 2 , great game.

I prefer ninga gaiden for the battle sistem and the enemies atack mode. But if one day some one do a action game with enemies with a good AI and challenging as NG, bosses like Those on DMC and a combo sistem more open.. THis will be the climax of the action games. Well, there are two ways to charge faster, one is the Armlet of Celerity that will speed up your charge by about 1/3, meaning until the UT you will only need 4 seconds and not 6.

The other way is, when there is essence around (e.g. form the killed Shadow Fiends that try to support Alma in this movie) and you charge. When there is essence around and you start to charge it will converge on your position and fuel your charge, two yellow or one red or blue essence will give you a charge for an UT.

Never tried this on Sigma, but I did Master Ninja of her on black (mission and story). I think that her second form is by far much harder, considering she can block flying swallow straight out in that fight.

Maybe it's just me, but I refuse to use items when playing on hard, even on bosses unless I can likely kill it on the next move. Just don't like spending my essence is all lol.

how to you evade those pillar attacks of alma !!?! i am no noob, i do know the roll and jump move, but i cant understand how u manage to evade them all. i tried every moment of the attack, but no matter when i roll away first, the second pillar gets me in mid air >_>.

You need to roll at the right angle, and also, you can buffer your Rolljump to continue them after without the recovery time.

If all else fails, Run up a wall, jump off at the beak of your run and slash down at the ground.

The invincibility frames should get you through all of them.

no OFFENCE u suck, i beat this boss with JUST NINPO, just use MAGIC spells, its done in 30 Seonds, also u suck i had 4 NINPO bars and used about 5 or so LIFE OF THOUSAND GODS, Everyone who says Alma is hard, use ur Friggin Ninpo, hardest boss is Probably Lava Dragon Perhaps, and the Guy with the Gun When u have to fight him as Rachel, other than that, easy game, the Helicopter is easy Mode too :) dont even get hit.

When she does that pink haze lifting thing, use the inferno ninpo. it will knock her out and when she hits the ground you fire the fireball and do even more damage.

he or she hesitates to much! fun fact for when fighting alma pay attention to when she gets her orbs around her! if u don't get it this is the trick right before she gets her orbs she is wide for that second. If ur able to get a flying swallow like i do and then the izuna drop she is easy

You cant use Izuna drop on Alma, you can only use Blade of Nittri as an areial juggle. And with her purple orbs, flying swallo only has a 50/50 chance of hitting, most of the time you'll just hit on of the orbs floating around her.
