I killed everyone (including the guards) and mined all the ore, I'm still stuck in the cave. When you kill the guards the first door opens from where you start out in the mine, but the next one shuts. How do I get out now? And I've tried waiting for the ore to respawn, it doesn't work

Killing everyone in the mine means that either you can't get out and have to load a previous save or perhaps look for a key on the old dude that you're either supposed to kill or save.

Notched pickaxe found at the Throat of the world on the very peek of the highest mountian in Skyrim. (Hint: Greybeards)

It refers to Bethesda's lawsuit against Notch, owner of Mojang and creator of Minecraft. A suit over the title name of their new game Scrolls. I never did find out if anything was settled. Last I heard he challanged them to a Quake match to settle the lawsuit... back in August. Which I'm not surprised, Notch is a very easy going guy. Very forward about things.

Yeah. Bethesda sued a swedish company which means that the law suit has to be settled in swedish court. Swedish copyright law says that you don't own the copyright to every single word in a trademark. You only own the combination of words that's on the trademark application. Bethesda had nothing and Notch knew it.

The Notched Pickaxe NEVER made an appearance in either Arena, Morrowind or Oblivion. The Morrowind construction set only has 2 pickaxes: the Miner's Pickaxe and Ancient Nordic Pickaxe. Add to that, Notch put in an easter egg in Minecraft which is the Toddhowared Pickaxe. Todd Howard at Bethesda and Notch are very good friends.

@TheAmazingUploader Actually the notched pickaxe does exist in Oblivion, but in Oblivion, just about anything could become notched. However, in Skyrim nothing but that pickaxe can be notched and they gave it a light blue glow as a reference to the Minecraft diamond pickaxe. Bethesda has yet to confirm it is a Minecraft reference, but it has a lot of signs. It's in a place you would only go to for exploration, it's the only notched thing in the game, and it the glow is blue like the diamond pick.

Probably a bug. I got the same problem but I just reloaded my last save point and equipped the armor that you get from the dude before going outside. After that it worked fine.
