  • Sampled by Turkish Soufie sound

  • Summer 94 around 4am at home having a house party high as a kite and this came on still love it now.

  • There are only few songs, that I will never forget. This is one of them, one of the most beautiful ambient trakcs ever.

  • this tune changed my life.before this i listened to rubbish music.it lead me on a fantastic journey.all the raves all the drugs.what a great time i had.mint

  • One of the best ambient tracks out there. And I don't say that often.

  • this takes me back. I filmed the stock footage in India for this video and the legendary Mike Frost edited it.

  • As the Editor of Future Music once said " the best electronic track".

  • Welcome to 1993...

  • I never tire of this tune, thought it was only me..

  • Thank you so much! I was looking for this one for 15 years.

  • lovely song!!!

  • This video is holy !

It was written for a prophet of our time called Sahib. There is only one god .

  • I saw this video on MTV about 10 years ago and I have searched for it since then. This is the first time I hear the song again and it is as good as I remember.

Anyone know if I'll be able to find this song on CD anywhere?

  • Get "Banco De Gaia - Live at Glastonbury", not sure if Soufie is on that CD but it's absolutely brilliant! :)

  • check it out on bancos website, theres a link to some early stuff available as mp3 downloads, i did it and burned them onto a cd!

it easily possible my friend!, good luck!

  • This song is divine!

It is on a rare CD called "Ambient dub vol. 1"

Search on E-bay etc. Happy hunting! =)

  • I have this CD in my hands, and I´m glad about this fact, because I discovered BANCO DE GAIA... Cool track

  • Comment removed

  • I totally disagree! This CD is one of the finest compilations of its time. Nevertheless, I hardly ever listen to it 'cause I'm sick of it. It's relevance for today is questionable...

  • @Starwizardgem is this off Maya? or is it before that?

  • yes i have this CD also, nice one :)

bought it in 1993 or something..

  • @okkiejam is it the Maya CD?

  • @TMundo i don't know, i have it on a compilation CD called "Ambient dub vol. 1"

  • @TMundo it wasn't on the "Maya" album. It cam out about a year or so before. I had it on video on an old VHS release called "Future Shock" from 1993. It also had stuff like "Papau New Guinea" by Future Sound Of London, "Ageispolis" by Aphex Twin, "UF Orb" by The Orb and "Fractal Zoom" by Brian Eno on it.

  • That great video and music, and that little watched?? sorrow...

  • What a tune...even after 15 years. Amazing video too, considering there were only 486DX machines and hacked copies of 3D Studio to play with in 'them days...' ;o)
