@theman1819 He's actually a 4:1 underdog. And if all you look at is the pot, it's a bad call. But knowing Jamie, there's no way all the money isn't going in if a K hits (~8% chance) and he'd still get some more out of him if an A hits. The pot odds aren't great, but they're not terrible - and he has pretty fantastic implied odds.

first, u have to say this is a classic cooler situation, u cant really get away from top set on the turn in that spot. but the turn raise was kinda questionable, especially the size, he raised 300k in a 100k pot, u really only get called here by a straight...

if u plan to go with the hand, u can raise like 100 more and induce patrik to shove, its also enough to protect ur hand i think.

and i dont like his behaviour either when he draws out, patrik on the other hand is a real gentleman

In high stakes games, these guys will usually run the turn and river (or sometimes just river) more than once to give the other guy a chance not to loose a huge chunk of their bankroll in one hand. So if they run it 3 times, they split the pot by the percentage someone wins of those three. If the guy wins all three, he keeps the entire pot. If he wins 2 out of 3, he keeps 2/3 of the pot, etc. I guess it's just kind of a "gentleman's agreement" sort of thing.

But if it does players have to decide how many times they want to run it. I love this rule because it can save you a lot of money and I use it a lot when I play with my friends. In fact you can see a lot of such things during HSP.
