Hi I'm new to nitro cars, what does idle mean?? And what setting do I need to have my car on?? Using low speed and high speed turny things?? I know I have to have the carb 1.5mm out

@TGIxJ4BB3RxMODZxTUTS Idle means when the car is at a stand still and the clutch is not engaged but your engine is running. For a beginner just adjust the high speed needle.

i was wondering if you could help me, i have a xterminater 2 nitro buggy, but when i walk about 12 feet awaym alll the servos go twichy and out of controll, the antenna is fully erect and i dont trust to take it out any more because it will just keep driving awway and out of controll, please hel thanks

Nice video! I have a question i recently bought a revo 3.3 on ebay and when i first started the engine it was loud and tired tuning it but it stills loud and cuts off alot but starting it i dont have a problem just need help to know where it should be tuned? Thanks

crazyrhino100....... you have to adjust the idle screw which is normally on the bottom of the caburator ( under your air filter ) :)

Hi i've got a problem with my rc car i i am thinking if anyone can help me please....

I've got a HSP 1/10th scale nitro rc car with a .18vx engine i recently changed the engine head(it was from a same engine). Anyway when i tried to start it it was very dificult to pull the pull start(i also tried it without the fuel line but the same thing happened) and i was wondering if u could help me....

@Nickjo1000 u might have forgotten to put the shims from the old head on so the piston could be pushing on the head metal-to-metal, so see if you forgot those shims. if thats not it, take it to your hobby shop

@Nickjo1000 you most likely shifted the piston`s position, when you break in a nitro engine it makes a groove in the sleeve that it follows for the rest of the engine life...if it has shifted there is a possibillity it will never start again thats why i would reccomend leaving broken heads on your engines until completely necssarry as it only affects cooling and not engine preformance like raxxaslover123 said you may be missing the shims and it could very well me hitting metal on metal

so just one question when i tap the breaks the engine slows down and if you leave the breaks on it will eventually stop the engine how do i fix this?

@TheLightingDude may need to up the idle a little bit if that dosent do it try to lean the LSN a tiney bit

Hey I have a Traxxas Revo 3.3 and I just recently bought it and my glow plugs keep going out after every run and I finnaly stopped so do I need to make it Richer so the temp at the glow plug is leaner. And also if any one has any revo 3.3 needle adjustments I would really like it if you could give them to me!!! PLEASE. HELP!!!

@nvdubs250 stock revo 3.3 settings are HSN 4 turns from closed LSN is set flush (even) with the edge of the slide valve and the idle gap is set to 0.7 to 1.0 mm gap.

its your idle screw ! or maybe just try to play with the throttle button on your remote

all engines ,for a base point ,,,,,go 3 turns out on hi speed flush with low speed and the idel ,,,,well look in the carb and make sure you see a 3 mm open gap for air to get in about the thickness of the end of a tooth pick ,,,then start it and ajust from there ,you can open the carb abiyt more by ajusting the throttle on your radio.throttle trim.
