When bush was president he opened a box that had weapons of mass destruction written on top, in excitement he opened it and all he found in that was the holey bible and the koran.
i admit this song does make this video more powerful but the song itself has nothing in common with the video hardly. the appropriate manics song for this video would be ' if white america told the truth...' anybody agree
Unfortunately, The United States of America has rejected God and all His loving advice and rules for society. Therefore, God has rejected the USA! USA should not have rejected the expression on Jesus' birthday which is celebrated Dec.25 by their statement: "happy holidays" It should be:Merry Christmas! kool aid drinkers=tea baggers! burn in hell
The irony of this would be the fact that during administrative time of George Bush, America became increasingly fascist, and that was tolerated.. although American high ups have always been somewhat fascist.
Agree with Benny Boy - looking at this from a Manics fan point of view, this song isn't about war or destruction in general. It's written about a specific event, and using it as a backdrop to something else just cheapens the song.
There are so many other songs about war or violence in general, that don't really mean much, that could have gone with this.
Yeah, I know what the song is about. Anyone who can get on wikipedia can learn what Nicky wrote the song about. As Arthur Scargill, head of the Socialist Labour Party, told the audience at Cardiff Millennium Stadium at the 1999/2000 concert, the message is to reject intolerance and injustice and not to tolerate those who tell you otherwise. This is my video rejecting those things and not tolerating George Bush.
People around the world should condemn this war and protest not just us in America.People hate Americans but it`s not the American people who want this war or any other it`s this government that does`nt listen to it`s people.

This song has nothing to do with America. It's about the Spanish civil war.
