im a classically trained pianist, but only took a few pipe organ lessons... so, what is a diaphone? :) sorry, not too versed in theatre organ. are they big deep pipes used by the pedals?
@SaintMichael305 if you you look organ stop pizza they should show the front of the building. there are these colorful pipes that you will see and them are the diaphones

The diaphone is really a giant set of wooden pipes. The sound is sometimes used to imitate a fog horn.

Those have to be the most powerful 32' Diaphones I've ever heard. To say they shake the building is a grave understatement.
