It sounds raspy because its just a tip if you look at the piping its that cheap aluiminum piping. A full TRUE Greddy Evo2 Exhaust sounds 3x's better than this
The piping before this is too small, and the muffler is too big. It sounds terrible and disgraceful to every Prelude. Please take it off, and put on something that sounds good like a Mugen, OBX, WS2 or RSR.
@ Cordius: well that was the plan to make the piping bigger, but then it would sound like a fart can more than this... plus i dont have it anymore, im just showing this to people thats planning for this
hey man i have the same greddy pipe...im doing my headers and was wondering did u have to raise the suspension to allow ample clearance for the pipe? shit is huge...
its just an axle back/muffler only. The shop that i went to install it got a new piping for me because i bought it used and it is connected to the stock mid pipes and stuff so i can just swap back my stock one if needed

I used to have this exhaust on my 01 Maxima it's good :D Well on this car it's okay sounds farty not so throaty.

@enterdan It really wouldn't. If you went full 2.5" it would sound fine. When you go from 2 to 4, or 2.5 to 4, it sounds bad.
