  • the fact is that most of chopstics are made from the thinning-out trees which are to be discared in mountains. the journalist did not mention about this fact.

  • Korean restuarants use metal chopsticks...a little harder to use but not bad once you get used to it....

  • we should all use washable chopsticks and cutleries. stop using disposables. i intend to bring with me my own set the next time i eat out in a fast food chain. when i buy take-outs i tell the server not to include tissue and plastic spoon&fork. i even bring with me my own bag for the take-outs...

  • they do, however english is not compulsary subject in japanese schools until high school. That might be one of the reasons alot of japanese dont speak much english.

  • @NarutoNinjagirl93 We seldom speak English to eachother talking with Japanese people. and the last one who dubbed has strong Japanese accent worse than I do...
