See, but when he said that Velvet Revolver doesn't own the rights to GN'R songs, it's true. Axl Rose basically told all of the other members of GN'R, "Give me your rights to the songs, or I quit." Obviously, this would be bad for GN'R at the time, so they gave Axl the rights, and now they can't play GN'R songs, and they don't get as much money from the sales of GN'R's albums that were made before Axl kicked Slash and the others out.
