This is about being an engineer, not about being a mage. All engineers can slowfall and engineers get the greatest speedboosts. Plus if you're an uncreative melee you can use the glove tinker to nuke from 45 yards :)
Maybe you don't need crazy good speed boosts (or any at all), but I didn't wanna wipe more groups just to find that out... or do more Ultraxion trash. /cringe
