Why not use prisoners for labor, because when they claim it spurs the economy it doesn't since the money has to come from somewhere and it basically gets reused but it doesn't regenerate. Why not use prisoners for labor, because when they claim it spurs the economy it doesn't since the money has to come from somewhere and it basically gets reused but it doesn't regenerate. It's like government construction jobs, all they do is use government funds to generate doled out jobs but not revenue since any taxes those workers pay are basically going back where they came from.

Too bad he was way too rational and too full of statistical data to be a serious candidate during the presidential election. Sam Brownback is a good man. He is one of the most vocal critics of the ACLU and a great defender of religious freedom. He is a moral man of good conscience. However, he lacks the aggressive stances that Hunter embodies. I would rather have Brownback than McCain.
I believe that morality is more important than the economy. Good morality will bring a good economy. Most of the nation's money is spent fighting moral problems.

That's also not true, the US is rated as the twelfth highest standard of living(based on developement and income). We Canadians only boast the fourth highest(according to the UN).
